My almost 2 year old inherited bug sister’s second hand balance bike (no clue how old it was) and it broke. Found one of these on sale at a local store for a bargain and bought it but sister thought it was for her! Haha so I found this one and ordered it for my almost 2 year old and he loves it! He’s a bit taller than most kids his age so I’m sure that helps but he can ride this thing with ease! It’s incredibly light weight and a great value for money! It was incredibly easy to assemble. I was pleasantly surprised with this balance bike. It was much lighter than I expected and fairly easy to put together. I couldn't manually push the frame onto the plastic washers which hold the drive post. I had to use a hammer to get it all the way down the plastic. The instructions talked about quick adjust connectors to raise and lower the seat and handlebars. However, mine only came with adjusters that require a hex wrench. Not a bid deal but will not allow for quick changes while out riding. I did appreciate the textured stickers on the frame behind the seat to allow the kid to put their feet up while they glide. With the length of the seat post and handlebar post this will last my kid for a good amount of time. The wheels are a soft plastic type material and are not rubber/air filled so they will probably wear out before the bike does. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Very disappointed that the handle bars and seat still twist despite being completely tightened, I kept wondering why the handle bars were crooked despite straightening. Will have to buy another one as the return window is closed now, very disappointed.

I live in Phoenix, AZ and the roads here are so flat. I had never heard of a balance bike when my kids were younger! But now that I have grandkids and a balance bike for them, I’m so glad we got this. It’s a perfect beginner bike to practice on without having to worry about the children falling over because the training wheels don’t hold their weight on a turn. With the balance bike mimicking the “Fred Flintstone” pedaling style, my grandson seems to have full control over his speed, balance, and when he can practice balancing. The white and black colors are sleek. The handle grips are just like any other well-made bike. I have seen versions of balance bikes with pegs to put feet on to, and I always wondered if kids kicked their ankles in to them. This bike gets rid of that concern by having a section right on the middle part of the frame where it’s a wider and flat area with a non-slip surface to rest their feet. This is great because they don’t have to try to hold their feet up while also trying to focus on balancing. This bike was easy to put together, not too many pieces with straight forward instructions. Instructions were basic but adequate and unlike most of my other projects, I didn’t even have any leftover hardware when I was done! Tools needed were included, although I did use my own electric screwdriver to adjust the height of the seat after everything was already put together. Nothing negative to say about the balance bike, however, my 3 year old grandson is big for his age and will likely outgrow this before he wants to be done with it. Great bike! ... show more
