I bought this kitchen for my granddaughter to play with when she comes over. She loves this kitchen and I love that she can play with for years to come as she grows. It is a beautiful play kitchen and vera well made. Be prepared to spend a good deal of time putting it together, but it will be well worth ot in the end. My only complaint is with the microwave. The door just will not stay shut know matter what. I ended up fixing this by cutting a command strip in half and using it which fit perfectly and works great the only downside with that being that you then have to push the door open button ready hard for it to open but it still will open or you can just use the handle and open it that way.

I did LOTS of research for the perfect kitchen for my kids. My daughter loves helping me make dinner and uses our microwave daily. This one was perfect because the stovetop lights up and makes boiling/cooking sounds. The microwave lights up inside when you push the "cook" button and dings just like a real microwave. And they LOVE the ice cube feature that dispenses "ice cubes". I read other reviews stating putting it together took quite some time and I'm not sure it was that difficult. I placed each numbered board in chronological order as the directions go chronologically. It made it pretty simple to put together. I did question if I put together the microwave the right way because all other doors "latch" so when you move the kitchen, no doors open...except the microwave. It doesn't latch or catch onto anything so the door doesn't stay shut in the instance of moving it. My kids don't seem to mind at all. The whole kitchen has lots of space for storage. It's really quite impressive! The only complaint I have is our ice cube dispenser sticks. So, when the kids push it in with a cup to dispense the ice cubes then place the ice cubes back into the door to re-dispense, the ice cubes just fall out. We have to manually pull the dispenser button back out after pushing it in to dispense the ice cubes. Not sure if ours is defective or this happens with all of these kitchens. Overall, we are super happy and the kids have played with it over and over. I'd suggest getting play food or accessories to go along with the kitchen.

This was a part of his birthday gift (actually was supposed to be for Christmas but his GMa just couldn't wait). 😁 I kid you not, they are up there cooking on it right now...Been cooking all day. 😁 My grandson loves it. And I have to say that I like it because it wasn't difficult to assemble. I just followed the instructions and there she was. Once finished (a couple of hours or so), I found it to be sturdy enough for a very active little 3yr. old. He can be rough, so I'm glad it seems pretty sturdy as well. All-in-all, it looks like a winner here. Also, it's really nice to look at, and as per my grandson, just awesome to play with again, and again, and again. I even put a personal touch to it by adding a couple of stick-on lights in the fridge and oven, easy as pie. So, when you open the doors, the lights come on and go off in about minute. Nice added touch, cheap, and easy to do. And it was nice catching this set at a great reduced price here, too. 😁👍🏽

Our 19m old got this kitchen for Christmas and it’s been a big hit! We researched play kitchens for a few months and wanted one she wouldn’t outgrow quickly. This was one of the taller ones (fridge and counter height). This size will fit her for many years! It wasn’t terrible to put together, but it does take some time. We were going to have it on our carpet, but it feels more sturdy on the laminate. They do include a wall anchor as well. The doors are a little hard to close at first, as the snaps are in the bottom corners, but they seem to be moving a little more easily now. With that being said, we also have to teach our daughter not to push the doors back too far, because they would snap. Good thing she’s a good listener 🙂. Her accessories are mostly Melissa and Doug. The condiments and food fit nicely in the fridge and the cans can fit on the shelf. The “full em up cups” work well with the ice dispenser, however the ice cubes with this M&D set will NOT go through the dispenser. The M&D cookie tube fits standing up or laying down in the fridge, but you cannot pull the cookie tray in and out of the oven. You have to put it in at an angle. None of which is a deal breaker for us. The M&D pots and pans fit great on the stovetop and in the dishwasher for storage. Love that there are sounds and lights with this kitchen. The burners light up and they make a gas lighting sound and then a boiling sound. The microwave also lights up and makes a running sound and beeps when finished. I wish the oven would light up as well but that’s ok. I agree the sounds are loud, but it doesn’t bother our daughter at all. A final note of the microwave is you have to use really small plates in it. The plate we have is from the fisher price food truck and it’s 4.5” diameter. Anything bigger will not fit. We are very happy with our purchase and would recommend to anyone who has a child who loves to play kitchen.

Got this kitchen for my 2 yr old birthday and he loves it. I originally bought the Melissa and Doug kitchen but this one had better features with the stove and microwave and it was on sale. I also loved the gender neutral color of it. Instructions were pretty straight forward and the only tool I needed was a Phillips screwdriver it took a little over 2 hours by myself and while taking a few breaks. Nothing was missing from the box and all the parts were in good condition when received. I love the height of it, I think my son will get some years of use out of it. I personally do not have any issue with opening and closing the oven or refrigerator doors on the kitchen I received. As seen in one of the pictures I added an adhesive motion sensor light so it can kind of resemble a stove light. I would suggest using the hardware that’s included to secure it to the wall especially if you have a strong toddler because if pushed too hard it may move. Overall I love it and I’m glad I went with this kitchen.

Great looking kitchen set. Easy to assemble, except for when one of the screws broke into a piece. Ordered the piece on Kidkraft website and was sent a replacement quickly and free of charge. Love the lights and sounds. The doors have to be pushed in firmly to close, so that might be an issue for younger ones. But my 4 year old son is getting a hang of it. The ice dispenser is cool. The set fits most Melissa and Doug items, except the white plates don’t fit in the microwave. May have to get smaller plates. The kitchen set is a little smaller than the original but I love all the features. UPDATE: 3 years later, and this kitchen set is still holding strong. I now have a two year old daughter and she absolutely loves it. She’s a bit more rough when playing compared to my son, but the set is super sturdy. The lights and sounds still work too! Very happy with my purchase.

Bought this for my 2 year old twin grandchildren's birthday. It was the only present they were interested in at their party. They are obsessed with it. They particularly love the beeping microwave. It is also good looking and realistic, just like Mom and Dads. It did take me about 3 hours to put together. The instructions were easy to follow and I particularly liked the 3D instructions which I highly recommend downloading. That way you can pivot the diagram around from different angles. My only criticism is that the screws were really hard to screw in, so my husband had to do a lot of them. I am pleased with the quality and it is sturdy.

We purchased this for our granddaughter and couldn’t be happier. It’s an absolutely adorable kitchen with so many wonderful features! It has an ice dispenser (such fun having the cubes come out;), the microwave sounds SO real we kept thinking it was the real kitchen microwave (lol) and the stove lights up and makes sounds. It seems very well made and although it took my husband awhile to put together (no avoiding that), all the pieces were organized, labeled well and nothing was missing so it was easy to put together. I highly recommend this kitchen!!!
