Let me first say that my son LOVES this toy! He is always asking to bring it inside and play with it in our family room. I am glad we made the purchase, but it's not exactly what I expected. IT IS SLOW! Not only is it slow, but you control the speed by pressing on a button that's on the steering wheel with your thump. This is very awkward for my son and causes our walks around the neighborhood to take forever! The battery is very weak. It drives fine on flat surfaces such as sidewalks and paved roads, but anything that is going uphill gives us trouble. Our paved driveway is slightly sloped uphill and it can't make it up without a push from me. Not to mention you can forget about driving on grass; this is strictly a toy for flat and paved surfaces. It is loud! The noise is not a problem when we are outside, but when we are inside the noise of the toy is very loud. It wouldn't be a problem, but there is no volume control on it. Thankfully the sound comes out of the front of the toy, which is the exact same color as duct tape. I put up some cardboard over the grill and then duct taped it. It dulled the noise a little bit, but it is still pretty loud. With that being said; my son absolutely loves this toy and it was a huge hit for Christmas. ... show more

My granddaughter was excited to see the box so we open before her birthday. I’m glad a did since it was missing two tire caps. I don’t know if the back section is missing a cover. I also thought it had a safety belt and a remote control. Please send what is missing so I won’t send back.

I ordered our recycling truck through Amazon, very easy of course as a prime member. The item shipped within a couple of days and I believe it came within a week. The package is large, the truck is a little larger than I thought it was, but that was a good thing. Assembly was easy. Grandma worked on the stickers for the recycling items while I did the small assembly items such as the wheel assembly, steering wheel, and dump handle. My only complaint is the quality of the stickers. I feel they could have been vinyl or a little heavier duty, assuming this will get used quite a bit by my daughter. I would also maybe have liked to see a seatbelt, but I think we will be ok without it. The truck lights up, makes cool motor noises, the front talks (not kidding, see photo of the front, the bumper moves) and it drives easily. The eyes even turn when the steering wheel turns. This truck will allow me to teach my daughter about recycling, and the public services provided to us. It will also be fun in the process. ... show more

This is the cutest ride on truck! I bought this for my nephew for his 3rd birthday, as he is currently going through a “trash man” phase, and he is obsessed with it!! It is easy to assemble right out of the box. It took about 20 minutes, and all you need is a screwdriver. You have to put the stickers on separately, so that also takes extra time. The interactive elements- singing/talking/moving face- are really well done! This truck was a splurge, but I think overall for all the things it does, as well as the accessories that come with it, it’s great value for money. The other electric cars I looked at were not interactive, and most did not come with additional accessories. My nephew especially loved putting the bottles and cans through the slots in the back of the truck and releasing them with the lever. The one thing to note is that this is not the most powerful ride on. It goes 1.5mph and needs to be on a smooth surface, so if you’re looking for something for a mini adrenaline junkie this wouldn’t be the best option. Concur with the slow speed and fragile stickers. However, still brought lots of joy to my son who loves trash trucks. My package arrived without the dump lever bolt. Overall, not a deal breaker but frustrating.

This was a huge hit with my 2 toddlers. They loved the shape sorting and the music/ eyes and concept of riding a garbage truck however we just put it together and immediately could not get any of the stickers/decals to stick. We tried numerous times to get the decals to adhere but they kept slipping or peeling up. Within one ride with my kids all of the stickers were off. It works well and is easy to assemble but looks like we purchased it second hand off of marketplace, and not that we just opened it days ago. The trash emptying bin also does not seem sturdy and is bending alot. I love the look of this toy and know the kids will enjoy it, but I’m just afraid it will not be durable or withstand play for very long. ... show more
