I bought this amp for $105.00 back in 2020. I didn't hook it up until late 2021. I'm running it to power my front door speakers in a Ford van along with 2 SA12's on 2400watts in a simple ported enclosure. I am running it bridged to two Kicker DS68's in the doors. I DD1'd and gain matched both channels to 30vac into 4ohms. Let me tell you that for the money, there isn't a finer amp out there. I run RF and Kenwood amps on other set-ups and this amp beats the others hands down as far as overall sound and volume. There is zero harshness. Even at full tilt, I seldom get fatigued listening. It gets very loud and sounds good doing it. The other amps tend to get harsh in the highs at the top end and seem to be missing the smoothness of this Kicker. Maybe it's AB vs D-class but it truly sounds so much nicer all the way around compared to my other set-ups. ... show more

Fits nicely under my passenger seat. The sound is fantastic. Crystal clear with plenty of power for me. I'm using a kenwood head unit and the stock speakers in my 2010 4runner. I would recommend adding a small amp like this before spending a fortune on speakers. I've used good aftermarket speakers with good aftermarket head units in the past and the results are not nearly as good as running the stock speakers on a standalone amp. And most modern factory speakers should hold up well to a small amp like this one. I bought the kicker 125.2 amp for a sub a while back and I was so impressed that I went ahead and got the 250.4 when it was time to work on the door speakers. The RMS ratings are low, but it will fill your car with sound. And it will sound fantastic while doing it. ... show more

    • Perfect for two 6x9s and one 10 inch sub in truck
I have two 6x9s running on their own separate channels on amp 1 and a 10 inch sub bridged on amp 2 between the other two channels and it sounds great. I set the Low pass crossover filter for the sub and no filter on the 6x9s, and the Gain and Bass Boost are independently controllable between amp 1 and amp2 so you can fine tune to get the perfect sound mix. Is also able to run both amps from a single input source so RCA splitters are not required, and accepts either low or high voltage inputs. I got a line out converter to tap into existing speaker wires and convert to RCA jacks. Fits neatly under the passenger seat. Great value for the money. ... show more

    • Great sound quality at a low price point
Used this to replace a faulty amp in the $150 price range... sound quality before was always okay and I did get some noise from my HIDs but I figured that was just typical. This all changed when I swapped it out with the kicker amp. Zero noise and pretty good quality sound coming to my highs. This is powering 4 door speakers, two 6x9s and tweeters with no issues. Honestly, unless you’re an audiophile looking to spend several thousand then this should be your go to. This would be a great addition to any car stereo where you are looking to get a good stereo and spend less than 1k for the complete setup. ... show more

You can't go wrong with Kicker products! I installed this amp with their Kicker KISLOC 2-Channel K-Series Speaker Cable to RCA Adapter with Line Out Converter, to connect to my stock stereo. It sounds awesome! As a 2 channel amp with the built in crossover, I am able to run a set of speakers in the front and a sub woofer installed in the back. No feedback through speakers what so ever and it the sound is crystal clear! ... show more

This amp runs my kicker door speakers so well. With the aftermarket head unit they didn’t perform as good as my subs. All I had was BASS! But now I have highs and miss that are load and good quality. High recommend this purchase!!
