I'm legally deaf, I only have hearing in my left hear thanks to a hearing aid. I was very surprised at how well that it worked. They hold a good charge, I wore it for 14 hours and it was still working great. What is nice about it is that you can charge the case and carry it with you and can get several charges just from the case alone. The sound quality is very nice which is something that is very important for those of use with hearing loss. It comes with everything that you need. Notice: be sure to peel off the plastic tabs from the charging contact on each device or they will not charge. I give this 5 stars and 2 thumbs up.     • Yes, It Makes My Pantyhose Last Longer
I guess I'm a rebel, because as I've gotten older I've come to wear nylons more rather than less. And I can make them last. The rules are quite simple: 1. Keep trying different brands of hosiery until you find something comfortable. Otherwise they won't last and you'll resent wearing them. 2. Run-proof your surroundings by putting tiny pieces of tape on the parts of furniture that snag your hose. 3. Do the same thing with shoes or wear anklets over your nylons. 4. Get in the habit of washing your hose promptly in Hosiery Mate as soon you remove them. I have the water running in my sink as I'm taking them off! Naturally, it's still possible to have an accident, but I routinely have hosiery last about through about fifteen wearings this way. I have a few pairs that have lasted much longer than that. Those never ran, but after about a year I threw them out after they'd snagged really badly. If I DON'T use Hosiery Mate, my pantyhose last only about half as long! As far as I can tell, an ingredient in the product coats the fibers, preventing them from wearing out. You renew the coating each time you wash them in Hosiery Mate. Finding Hosiery Mate has gotten harder over the years. It used to be available at department store hosiery counters, and on occasion even supermarkets. So I'm really glad that I can get it so easily on Amazon. It saves me a lot of money. ... show more

    • Great solution for washing hose
I mean that in both ways: the solution which makes up Hosiery Mate is good for what it does AND it solves that problem where you can't get the soap out of your hose once washed. There is NO rinsing it out. I also believe that it makes my hose/tights last longer. I've used this stuff for well over 20 years. When I could no longer find it at my normal places, I got online and found it. The price has gone up over time but it is well worth it. Amazon's price wasn't too bad. I love this product!! It's so easy to use, esp. with the no- rinse formula. Ladies, this works for bras too. It keeps them from stretching or losing shape. I have a friend who worked in a lingerie dept. and she recommended this for all types of stretch/ elasticized lingerie. Bad news overall! I have used this for years, but was astounded & appalled that the price ($6.00 when I last purchased it) & the amount 2b used jumped from 1 cap to 4caps made me well aware that I will, unfortunately not be able to " treat " myself on my fixed income & will have 2 go back to cold water wash & rinse. Since I wear doctor ordered compression hose, I am not very happy, to say the least. It seems that whenever a product is no longer sold in stores, the price goes WAY UP. I have used this product for years. It is easy to use and cleans my hosiery well. I just wish the price would have stayed where it was back when I purchased my first bottle from Nordstoms at $2.50!!! This is the only product I use on my hose.
