This is the comforter cover I’d been searching for. Not some synthetic microfiber, but just plain cotton. Shrinked a tiny bit in the wash, but not so much that it didn’t fit my fluffy down comforter. Yes, it doesn’t have the same buttery softness as synthetic fabrics, but has some weight to it, and is exactly what it says. I tend to run hot, and this cover didn’t make me break out in hives (unlike some microfibers) or in a sweat. The only tiny complaint: I wish it had 8 ties instead of the two corner ties, and the corner ties were just one loop, so I had to cut the loop in half so I could use it as ties. I was hesitant to try this because I wasn't sure about the quality, but I was pleasantly surprised for this price point! The cotton isn't super thin and the stitching looks good. It has a decent zipper, ties and the pillow cases have envelope closures which wasn't stated in the description, which I prefer. I would have liked a flanged edge that is more like a pillow sham, but I'm still pleased. The fabric is nice and very soft, and I like the wrinkled texture. Search for a duvet cover that was mostly cotton/all cotton. This did not disappoint!!! The khaki linen color is perfect and the texture is exactly what i wanted-not jersey knit, not that weird slippery/shiny material….just a great light weight cotton duvet.
