I find the monomer works well, I am a beginner and still had no problems using it with different powders o find its very forgiving. My issue with It really was the smell. It is extremely strong and lingered for days even with opening windows and taking other precautions the smell is unpleasant and the smell lingered in the first and second floor of my home.
