Although they're not blackout, they do block a lot more light than I thought they would. Definitely darkens my room that has huge windows. Beautiful color and very soft. Love the large rod pocket at the top. It makes them easy to slide open/closed and fits my larger-than-average tension rod. They are pretty wrinkled but steaming would probably fix that. The curtains are a nice weight and texture, but they're not blackout. They do get the room very dark, but it's not pitch black if that's something that's important to you.

I decided to replace the old curtains in my aging RV camper by sewing some new ones myself, and decided the most cost effective solution was to purchase some pre-made curtains, and then cut them to the sizes that I needed. The KGORGE Velvet Curtains were a nice solution for me. Using the old curtains, I laid them out on the new curtains, and cut about 1" larger all around. Then I sewed new hems along the edges.
