This beanbag is amazing, we call it the eagles nest. Truly not the most aesthetic piece in our study, but the most sought after perch for a rainy afternoon with a book and a hot cup of tea. The elephant in the room with this purchase is what to fill it with. Memory foam is heavy, and if you get a 5 foot bag- we’ll that’s a lot to drag around! We got the standard old school filler and we’re glad we did since this monster gets moved around the house a lot. I wish we had gotten this sooner, let your inner hippy child free and enjoy!

So a few years ago we got a memory foam bean bag from Amazon. (Purple bean bag in the picture) It said the covers were replaceable but they were impossible to find! We came across this one so I ordered it! The bean bag is 4ft and the cover we have on it now it really hard to put back on because its so tight. I ordered a 5ft replacement cover for a little looser fit and wow did I over estimate! There is soooooo much extra fabric I could fit another bean bag in it lol. The material of this new one is soft and looks really nice BUT it sheds. Leaving fuzz all over. I feel like if I wash it, this may eliminate shedding but its still really big! (The last picture, we tucked the extra fabric under the beanbag.)

I don't think I was mentally prepared for the size of this thing. But not a bad thing for my household of 7 kid! They love this thing! They fight over laying on it. I didn't think I'd have a problem filling it up but I also didn't realize it was this big. No problem for us though because we had too many blankets and extra pillows taking up space! So this thing is a great way to space save and have extra comfy seating in our living room for our kids! We're getting close to filling it up fully though, we've used our extra comforters and baby blankets we don't use anymore, my pregnancy pillow, and like 5 standard pillows. Besides the fact it's huge and you have to fill it with so much, my only real issue was it came with bugs on it right our of it's sealed packaging...no problem since I washed it...but be prepared for some major shedding in the wash and out for a few days!The shedding was annoying but it seems to have chilled out or at least stopped after having it our and used for a little over a week.

We filled this bad boy up and it now sits in the middle of the living room, usually with a kid or two on it. Super nice material, and it was very easy to fill. Only downside is that sometimes the dog claims it, but thats not the beanbags fault.

The 5-foot kgitpve Giant Bean Bag Chair Cover is big enough for 1 0r 2 people, soft to the touch, double-stitched seams, 2 zipper pulls, long-wearing fabric that's machine or hand washable, but I don't know about drying methods. I have made beanbag pillows since the 1960s but nothing this big. The cost of the filler has always been a factor but I should of calculated the cost before ordering. Rough calculations show I may spend at least $200 for one type of filler and another type of filler may weigh over 100-pounds. One solution for using the cover is using it as a quick cleaning bag, tossing in items in the kid's rooms, or anywhere else in the house. Very helpful when you get the dreaded call that you MIL is on her way over, or college friends are visiting for the weekend. The filled-up bag can be tossed into a closet or garage until the unplanned company leaves. Be sure that nothing sharp or pokey, that can damage the bag is placed in the bag.

This bean bag cover is super soft and worked well for what we needed. It fit our Fuf chair, but did take some finagling, it's better as a 2 person job if you're stuffing a huge foam chair inside it. But I love the look of it and the extra protection it gives. It's really soft and snuggly.
