I plan to use these to create a smaller fenced area around the patio for the dogs to go outside when I don't want them to go out into the larger chain link fenced yard at night where I can't see them. I also don't want them at the chain linked fence barking at neighboring dogs when I'm not outside with them. I bought a rubber mallet at the same time, which is what other reviewers advise. I purchased 3 of the 23' long fences, each box is heavy, just fyi, because they are metal.

I use these to separate my large dog from my small dog. My large dog doesn’t jump or press on the fence, if he did, this fence wouldn’t hold. It’s not sturdy or heavy enough for a 130 lb dog to lunge or push on it. But my dogs are in a large fenced in yard and I’m with them, they just need to a barrier between them, so we can hang out “together” without the boys fighting. My ground is a mix of clay and dirt, which holds the stakes in well. I used a rubber mallet and installation is simple. I check the fencing and tap the stakes seasonally. I have several different versions of these fences. This one is priced higher than others. It’s also lighter, two inches shorter than others, and I didn’t see any options to buy a gate or set with a gate. So, I’m not sure if I’d buy it again.

These are nicely made and heavy duty enough to hold up. Very easy to put up. These are the best temporary fences I've used! The reason I took a star off is I wish they had sent an extra rod. That way I could have had a space between the fences. I have some columns and having to keep these together, crossing the column, I came up short in length. I think anyone might want that extra rod to have some fence on each side of a walkway or even a tree. UPDATE: After a week of rain, I see the circles that hold the support rods are rusting! I'm removing another star for that.

Funny story I actually got these so that our chickens cannot get into our garden starts this year LOL. These came very well packed and secured and they are just as heavy duty as they boast to be. They match up perfectly with the ad even down to the measurements and everything is super well made and very heavy duty. You can tell that these are well made because they do have a little bit of weight to them but they're also lightweight enough you can get them set up where you need them to be. Getting them set up is an absolute Breeze and you simply stick them into the ground and they're good to go. They don't sway around or wobble or act like they would easily fall down whatsoever. They go pretty deep into the ground so you don't have to worry about an animal being able to dig underneath. Definitely very great quality and it's so far so good with keeping our chickens out! They free range so they are always trying to get into any little snacks they can and go dig up all my dirt LOL. This is been a lifesaver already and in my opinion it's definitely worth every penny in quality alone. Very well made and works perfectly as intended. Definitely an amazing value for your money in quality alone and a solid 10 out of 10!
