Ripped open the screen only to find out the screw drivers provided wont take out the screws. Different sized screws and they dont provide what u need to complete the job. I dont even know if the screen works because i cnt take the screws off... buy a replacement screen from someone else

I chose this repair set based upon the reviews, and being confident in my handi skills. I got skills. However, I'm now in my 40's, and readers do not begin to help in seeing what the heck I'm doing! A great piece of advice from a tech friend, which I should have heeded before attempting this: Watch several YouTube videos on how to do the repair first; then take it to an Apple repair specialist. My review is not based upon the product itself but on the realistic approach I should have heeded. I may have been able to do this with a lighted magnifying lense attached to my readers. Even though I carefully kept screws organized, several popped off over my shoulder in my lengthy attempts to get them aligned properly into their respected holes. It's not a complicated project. Just a delicate and super tiny project. This is not as simple as taking off the broken piece and attaching the new piece. I did not account for removing parts from the old piece to attach to the new piece before attaching the new piece to the phone. This is the part that gets complicated. Due to three lost screws, I will be bringing the unassembled mess to a place that knows what they're doing. Younger eyes should have no problem attempting this at home. ... show more

Very pleased with this screen, some usually are very fragile and will display a blue light by the bottom right corner when installing but not this one! It even came with a screen protector and nice tools for the job! The 3D Touch works, haven’t gamed on it though so I wouldn’t know how responsive it is to gaming. There were no problems setting up the home button or problems setting up the front facing camera and speaker! They all work great. Drains battery a little quick but overall it works great and worth the money! I will buy again if I need it. ... show more

I've done many iPhone screen replacements myself. There's only one way to do them correctly. Take your time. I ripped off the home button from the rest of the circuit board. I broke my home button attempting to connect it to the screen. Home button is only replaceable by Apple and it costs approximately $350! ... show more

Just installed this screen and immediately noticed muddy, slightly yellow tinted colors along with a prominent bright yellow dead pixel. Not a quality LCD panel. I've had better color reproduction and clarity from the $15 Aliexpress replacement panels, I'd recommend shopping there. This kit does come with nice screwdrivers though. ... show more

Had to take to a professional for installation as parts were missing. He laughed at how inferior it is and sure enough upon installation it was lean and has yellow spots in a couple areas.
