There is a reason that apple has their iPhone factory’s in China and not in America, long story short McDonald’s but seriously the screws are ridiculously tiny so take your time and have good lighting and a clean work space that will be easy to find a dropped screw the kit worked wonders and it only took me about a hour and a half to complete and it turned on fine except my iPhone popped up a message that said (iPhone is disabled, connect to iTunes) which is another problem in its self but over all pleased with the kit ... show more

Fast shipping easy to install. Bad directions but I used common sense. First time in a iPhone and did it fast and easy! Great replacement. You will have to change some parts over to new screen like camera, speaker and some pan covers. Easy!

I chose this repair set based upon the reviews, and being confident in my handi skills. I got skills. However, I'm now in my 40's, and readers do not begin to help in seeing what the heck I'm doing! A great piece of advice from a tech friend, which I should have heeded before attempting this: Watch several YouTube videos on how to do the repair first; then take it to an Apple repair specialist. My review is not based upon the product itself but on the realistic approach I should have heeded. I may have been able to do this with a lighted magnifying lense attached to my readers. Even though I carefully kept screws organized, several popped off over my shoulder in my lengthy attempts to get them aligned properly into their respected holes. It's not a complicated project. Just a delicate and super tiny project. This is not as simple as taking off the broken piece and attaching the new piece. I did not account for removing parts from the old piece to attach to the new piece before attaching the new piece to the phone. This is the part that gets complicated. Due to three lost screws, I will be bringing the unassembled mess to a place that knows what they're doing. Younger eyes should have no problem attempting this at home. ... show more
