I got this bed because I have a Sleep number bed and it already has a base. I didn't use the wood planks and haven't had any issues yet. It was slightly difficult to set up ONLY because i was installing around the bed. Very soft leather. It does sit fairly low to the ground tho. I love the colors in the head board. I added a 30$ set of LEDs to mine. I don't know why people compare this to a kids bed, I got the king, and I love it. It is definitely different. I wanted something low enough so my two small children could climb up, this frame fit the bill and I'm a sucker for LED's. It's INCREDIBLY low to the ground, so keep that in mind, and it's very unique and requires a particular aesthetic already in place to really appreciate it. Easy enough to assemble, instructions are really thoughtfully written. I recommend a cordless drill, just because there are LOTS of screws lol. Once assembled it is very sturdy, with no hard edges to stub toes and hit shins on. I give it 5 stars, but 3 on value for money. It's expensive. Definitely a YOLO buy at this price tag. But, I am pleased. I'll update if it doesn't hold up well to adult activities. UPDATE: How do I put this so it gets past the censors... So the pleather will need a barrier between it and gloss paint. Repeated, oscillating motions make the bed squeak against the wall. The direction of said motion does not matter, we tried up, down, left, right, with a friend, alone, any continued motion in any direction will make it produce a REALLY obnoxious squeak against gloss painted walls. Minor nuisance, still a great bed. I used a bit of the fuzzy part of Velcro, and stuck it to the part that was making contact. No more wierd squeak, no matter how vigorous the motion! Firstly, my bed was delivered before the actual time I asked for and the delivery person just left it sitting in front of my door while I was still at work. Thank God my Brother lives right next door and saw it sitting there because anyone could have easily come and taken it. Secondly the assembly of this bed was not at all easy in fact it took me many hours to put it together by myself. After completing the project I was very Happy with the sturdiness of the bed and Love how low it sits unfortunately when I plugged the light in to see how it looked I noticed that it was cracked. As much money as I payed for the bed and as much time I put into assemble it I was Extremely disappointed to find a Crack in the headboard light which I have posted. I would Greatly appreciate some kind of reparations. I don't want to send the entire bed back after the amount of time it took to assemble but maybe a partial monetary refund or something for this head board only seems fair. ... show more

So, the third party shipping company (FedEx) said they delivered this yesterday but did not. The company was reasonably quick with responding and giving options. Ultimately the bed was delivered the next day without any notification but I received it and was in good shape. All pieces were accounted for. The faux leather is nice and does not feel cheap. Installation took me about an hour. It fits my 12" mattress great and feels very sturdy. I am happy and would recommend. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the discrepancy in shipping which isn't the company's fault exactly and the instructions could be a little better and more forethought given. One piece had to be turned upside down after being installed the other way due to instructions not being more specific. ... show more

Bought this for my 9 year old gamer son and he loves it! Assembly was easy and my son loved helping! Full size requires a 10" or 12" mattress. I originally bought a 6" and once I read the instructions, I realized I had to return it for a thicker one. Seems pretty sturdy. Love that it's low to the ground in case my kids roll off. You can use the app or remote to turn it off or on and change the settings, but I've noticed I cannot be in another room to turn it off with my phone. I definitely recommend for any little gamer or someone who loves LED lights! ... show more

Bed gets a three star it’s easy to put together and sturdy. However we bought the bed cause we read in the description you can play music with a app change the bed to different colors. The yellow and green does not work and the music doesn’t play on a useless app.

I totally love everything about this bed but the one and only thing that I do not like about this bed is that in the very center of the headboard the frame surrounding the LED pixie glass and lights. The stitching's around it are good but the problem is that there's too much signs here of very little care when it came to this. it doesn't look straight it looks kind of ridged and bumpy all on the insides surrounding the light because of the upholstery underneath the leather. As I rub my fingers are crossed and feel I can tell a lot of it is definitely out of place and there's even a hard bump on one spot whatever that is. Besides that it's an awesome bed and I really like it * Update * I have had this bed for almost a year and it still works just as good and is as useful since I bought it. There is an issue with the LED strip it works great but it's only pinned up by five then elastic strips across and it leaves too much room for the strip to start hanging down throughout the headboard which looks tacky. I have used double sided tape but I might have the triple the amount because it keeps going back down from the weight of the strip. Also on one side of my bed the upholstery underneath the leather has become loose and it is a long strip from the front to the bottom of the bed. I'm always very cautious on how I get on my bed and climb off. I don't know how it became so loose that it just fell off underneath the leather and now it's just really loose. They possibly use very little glue on the strip which caused it to just come off in short time. I can't really complain for a bit it's only less than $200 I guess ... show more
