I ordered this fan to replace a worn out fan for a dehumidifier that had become loud. At first I hooked it up and it didn't work, so I rehooked up the old fan and it worked. So I thought that it was just a bad fan, so i ordered a replacement. It was awesome that I got the new fan before I had time to return the other one. Hooked up the new one and same issue. Then I noticed that the plug was the same as the old fan, but the red and black wires were switched. So out of desperation, I cut and switched the wires and the fan worked. It was spinning in the direction indicated on the fan housing. So it might be a manufacturing error where the plug was put on backwards. But the fan now works well and is super quiet.

Used this to mod my external hard drive enclosure, it replaced a crappy fan and now my hard drive runs a bit too cool lol. Comes with a molex adapter, my only complaint is the noise 30dba is a bit uncomfortable.

I have a Frigidaire Gallery side by side refrigerator. The ice machine stopped working and after some investigation I determined that the Fan was broken. They wanted $100 for a new fan. This one was the same size and fit perfectly. I did need to change the plug to use the one from the old fan. Everything works perfectly. Very useful

Good product, But check all 3 before installing. One of the three I received did not work at all and forced me to reopen the device and replace it.

This fan was advertised as 30 dbA at 12 volts. It was *80* dbA at 12 volts! That's so far off it constitutes false advertising! Worse, as another reviewer mentioned, it was wired *backward*-- the red wire and black wire were swapped! Wired that way, the fan does *nothing* when plugged in. How many people would even notice this? They'd just send it back as defective. What a waste of time and money.
