The clear protector for the key fob was nice. It covered every angle of the device and is completely enclosed. The way they made the protector where a piece of the plastic is under the outer piece is ingenious. It kept it in place and I don't see if falling apart easily. Didn't like the other parts that came included however like the keychain parts. It felt a little cheap and was a little bulky.

We got this key fob case for 2023 Mercedes EQS. All key fobs cases I used in the past were single piece of stretchy silicone and I was skeptical of this two piece design. However, both pieces have grooves along the edges that nicely hold the two pieces together. And the made sure the plastic over the buttons is flexible you can press the buttons easily while rest of the case is harder plastic. There are two downsides however. First, the picture showed clear plastic but in reality this a very dark (smoky?) and semi transparent. It actually makes it hard to read what's on the buttons. And second is the panic button on the back of the fob. It is nearly impossible to press that button with this case on. That part of the case is just too hard. I personally have never used the panic button on my car keyfobs but it should be usable in case of emergencies.

I was a little nervous about getting this at first because although the main description said it would work with a 2024 Lexus NX, the finer printer said it went through the Lexus models up to 2023. I glad I went with my gut and tried it anyway. I can only assume that the key fob between 2023 and 2024 did not change for my car and seller hasn’t fully updated the entire description. I needed a protector because I had to get a new key fob after losing my original key. I just got the replacement and realized they don’t automatically come with a protector like they do when you first purchase/lease a Lexus. Since this was not going to be key I used on daily basis I also didn’t want to spend a lot. This protector absolutely serves its purpose. It was a little hard to get the plastic fully around the fob and then get the back on; however I see that as a positive - it’s not about to fall off. The plastic is thick enough to provide protection but not so thick that it takes up more room (the leather cover that comes from Lexus is probably thicker than this). The buttons all work as they should through the plastic and the car starts with the fob in your pocket as it should. The plastic encasing seems pretty durable too. The protector also comes with a keychain that attaches to the cover with a small screwdriver (included). At first I wasn’t going to attach it because I keep my house keys separate from my car key but decided to attach it. I’m glad I did because it makes it easier to find. As previously stated, this is a replacement key fob so I keep it in a dish over my counter along with some other items. I can readily pick it and out of the dish with the keychain now. I can only write about the cover for the 2024 Lexus NX and it definitely works with my car which is why I give it 5 stars. Based on that, I can only assume that the covers for other makes and models of cars work just as well. Just be sure you’re matching up to the correct make, year and model for your car though. .

This cover fits the 2019 and up RAV4 key fobs. The key fob sits in my pocket all day and comes in contact with other keys, so it is nice to know my key fob is well protected in this cover. There is a latch that you need to slide In order to release the mechanical key from the Toyota key fob, This cover, however, covers the entire key fob and thus blocks access to the mechanical key. This may or may not be a problem down the road, depending on how you use your key fob. It wasn’t easy to slip the key fob into this cover, and it will require some effort to take the key fob out of this cover. The product list picture shows a “clear” looking cover case. The one I received however was entirely too dark. It is a bit difficult to see through the case to find the correct buttons. Overall a decent key fob cover. It does the job

Although protecting your keys aren’t as important as protecting your phone, this will to a good job of protecting your key fob. The real reason my wife likes this is it makes her keys stand out and easier to find. Whatever your reason, this is worth having.
