I am very familiar with keratin treatments I go to a hair salon twice a year and it’s expensive!!! Price went up again!!! So I decided to give this product a try. I followed the directions and of course I knew exactly how to do it. The product smell terrible my eyes got so red my nose and throat burn bad so I had to take breaks and go outside to breath!!! I waited 30 minutes since my hair is not thin but also not very thick. I dried it and straight it and it looks bad it was sticky and nasty but I gave it a try and decided to wait a day and then wash it and I’m happy I did because when I wet it usually my hair feels dry until I put conditioner but this time it felt so soft I was so impressed it’s shiny and soft and I think for this price it worth doing it then going to a salon. But next time I will do it outdoor. I also did my daughter hair it’s thick and very frizzy and same thing with her hair happened it was super sticky but got amazing after first wash. I know people say wait 72 hours before you wash it but there are two kind of keratin some have to wait this time and some don’t I feel that this one is ok to wash after a day. ... show more

    • Used this on my mom and she is very pleased
My mom had to reschedule her appointment with her hairdresser several times. While listening to her I decided to see if I could not do hair hair instead of her having to wait 2 more weeks. I bought this, arrived very fast, did her hair and it looks great. Her hair is a bit dryer than before but she now uses different shampoo and conditioner and that seems to help to hydrate her hair better. I must say the smell is horrible! My eyes watered like crazy and we both had a mask on. Will I do her hair again with this ? Maybe , there is enough product left to do all her friends as well but perhaps her hairdresser should do this as I was still a bit concerned about how this smelled and made my eyes water. Perhaps salon Keratin is less aggressive. But I do think compared to what my mom pays and what this costs.. go for it! ... show more

I was sos skeptical about this but so tired of spending $300 in the salon every 5 months. I tried this product and I was freaking out the whole time. I washed it right after I had flat ironed it and while it was a gross and very long process, just like the salon, once I had washed it, it worked better than I have ever had it done in the salon. My hair is so soft and manageable and straight. I am so glad that I did this. I almost returned it but so thankful I went on ahead and finished it. So worth my day. ... show more

I used to do Brazilian treatments on myself 13 years ago. This formula is amazing!!!! My 3C curls are now 2C. This “relaxed” the heck out of my hair which is what I wanted. My drying time and straightening time are cut down but I still have to do a thorough flat if I want that smooth pin straight look. I’m a VERY happy customer.     • Couldn't do it!!
Okay so I did read the reviews but in no way was I prepared for how super strong the smell was once you start blowdrying your hair. I felt like I was dying from the smell attacking my eyes, nose and throat, and this was after I had opened all my windows. So next I unplugged my blow dryer from in the bathroom, and then proceeded to blowdry my hair while sitting in the window in my living room. Unfortunately this still wasn't enough so after another 20 minutes of me stopping and starting so I could breathe and let my eyes stop watering I finally gave up. I was extremely determined at first to finish this since well I paid $44 for it. After stopping again so I could easily breathe and my eyes stop watering and burning like crazy I just said screw it and washed it all out of my hair even though I only made it through blow drying the front of my hair. On the upside it was very soft after washing my hair but unfortunately for me it was not worth finishing the process. Even after I finished washing my hair it took about another 15 minutes for my eyes, throat and nose to stop burning from the smell. Oh and to top it off I had a headache now from the smell and my frustration. I'm not saying this to deter anybody from buying the product because I'm sure if you can make it through the process it will work very well, I just wanted to give you a heads up of what you will be dealing with once u start adding heat to the product. If you have somewhere outside you can do this process it would probably make it a lot easier or if you can wear eye goggles and a nose plug... Lol ... show more

Beyond amazed with this product! I’ve gotten professional keratin treatments in salons for a decade. I’ve always paid at least $180 for the product and then $40 to tip the stylist! This bottle is cost efficient and will give me many applications! It works perfectly and gave me silky, smooth, straight hair.
