so the weights when put on a scale were either right at the weight they say or a few ounces above none under which is great! the twist lock design for the weight to be held in place works wonders and feels very snug against the weights so i have little to no worries when lifting. id say the only downside is the bars themselves are extremely long compared to most dumbbells youd normally use and to check the threading on yours as one of mine had excess plastic all over it i had to clean off. All of the listed pieces were included and are in good working order. The instructions were pretty easy to follow putting everything together and switching modes isn't two time-consuming. I do like having a lot of variety to be able to do many different workout styles using the same weights. I wish the long bar was a little more strong to add other weights but it appears like it's made out of some type of plastic and I'm worried it would break. ... show more

Do yourself a favor and just buy iron dumb bells. Wish I did. Check out FB market place as there are always some used ones listed. I used these dumb bells exclusively. Now, I'm probably going to use them as door stops or tractor weights. The length of the dumb bell bar is ridiculously long preventing you from doing most dumb bell exercises with perfect form. Though about cutting them short, but not sure if retainer would screw on. Plus if you cut them, you might only get 2 weights on each side. ... show more

It's like four sets in one – dumbbells, kettlebells, a barbell, even push-up handles. Switching between them is quick, and putting it together was simpler than IKEA furniture...actually what isn't easier? The weights feel surprisingly solid, even though they're plastic, and the comfy padding keeps my hands from getting torn up. Best part? They store like blocks, saving tons of space.
