I live in a mini-house and needed something small to put under my kitchen sink so I would be able to wash dishes, etc. This was perfect. I got the 2-1/2 gallon tank. It set up fairly easily with 1/2 inch Pex, but I think it definitely helps to have some knowledge/skill in plumbing. The unit plugs in and has quite a short cord, but that was easily factored in for me. Did have a small leak on the hot side when I turned the water on for the first time, but a garden hose gasket that I had on hand fixed it easily. I liked the size and the price of this, shipped quickly and packed well. It fit easily under my sink as it is less than 12 inches square. The really great part is how well it works. It takes mere minutes to heat water. This is not an on-demand system, but a point of use; however, I was doing a large project in the kitchen and house today, cleaning a lot of things, and I never once ran out of hot water because it heated up so quickly in between uses. I'm using this for a bidet. It heats up very quickly and has no issue keeping up with my water usage. It has low enough wattage to be used on a standard 15 amp circuit. It does have standard size fittings, but if you've ever done plumbing as an amateur, you know how many different kinds there are and that sent me to Lowes several times to get it right between this and the bidet. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Bought the water heater in December 2023 and installed it for my studio to have instant hot water to my sink. Seemed a like pretty good deal. At first... It was a pain to install. Constantly leaked from the pressure release valve and then finally started leaking from the front face plate (video included). Photos show the corrosion that happened in literally less than 3 months. The fact that none of the electrical is protected from water meant that this water heater was a ticking time bomb. An absolute trash piece of work. We only figured out the problem after we took apart the entire water heater. Don't waste your time with this product. You can't even replace anodizing rod which is highly recommended in other water heater brands. We switched to Bosch because I'm absolutely floored with how poor this product was made. It was fairly simple to put in my dislike is it does not show you what the water temperature is you have to turn it on and adjust it to feel once you get it to that the temperature that feels comfortable without scolding you and yes it will get hot enough to scald you And I take very hot showers. This will not work in the shower. It’s not designed for showers designed for under the sink, dishwashing, and such. I love it to death. It takes the place of a bigger tin gallon that I have a board my boat. I’m gonna get another one big enough for showering.     • Easy china threads conversion to NPT.

1/2 " cpvc female adapter with the washer fits nicely. Pecs female adapter worked well. Metal and other NPT fittings just wouldn't start on the fun Chinese threads? And no amount of Teflon will seal on sloppy threads, its got to have a washer to seal. The unit installed quickly and heated surprisingly hot. So far so good! ... show more

One I bough and am still using works perfectly, the other started leaking heavily by where the wall mount screws are installed by the factory in the back. The one that works was easy to install and heats the water fast, I have to get another but am worried as it was the second one I got that had the issues, just trying to put some hot water in our store bathrooms as there is no hot water heater in our business. ... show more

I installed the Kenuos water heater under our kitchen sink to supplement our water heater located in the back of the house. It takes about 1 to 1 1/2 minutes for hot water to reach the kitchen! The product documentation states the tank will keep water hot up to 72 hours in the event of a power outage. I connected the hot water line coming from the house water heater to the cold water inlet. The Kenuos tank holds about double the amount of water in the copper line. Basically, I always have hot water. The hot water coming from the home water heater reaches the kitchen well before the Kenuos tank depletes the stored hot water. The Kenuos barely runs at all! I expect this will be extremely efficient because it’s keeping the hot water hot as opposed to heating cold water! This product has lots of applications. I highly recommend the product! ... show more
