Its a great vest for me. It's on the lower end of the safety list but for kayaking on small lakes, I'm most likely to end up in the water due to standing in my kayak while pulling lures from branches. I live in Wyoming and it can get very cold before freezing the water here and I'm not likely to be able to swim covered in cold weather gear so this vest is just what I need. I thought these were fine for the price. They keep you legal in Wisconsin waters as long as they are aboard your pontoon and that is what I wanted. For an adult size life jacket they are pretty small especially for an adult male who is 5 feet 11 and weighs 150. My husband won't wear the one I got for him as he feels it is too small, so it sits nearby unused. That said, my 7 year old grandson wore one and it fit perfectly. I use this for duck hunting. Coast Guard approved life jackets are required in my state for all boaters from Nov. to May if boat is under 21ft. This keeps me legal on my little duck boat, without spending a ton.

My life vest is a Universal Adult Size. They also had an Extra-Large size and a Children's size.I'm 6' 195 lbs and the Universal fit me snug but ok.If you're bigger than me, buy the Extra-Large.

Great lifevest for the money. I can wear this over a large fluffy jacket and it still clicks in. Hopefully I wont need to test the lifevest but It should work just fine.
