It is under my fingers as I type. It has the feel and push-back of a real typewriter keyboard. There are no mushy keys and the action is constant and consistent all across the board. I use Linux as my operating system. The special keys at the top of the board for volume, mail, and control of playback devices all work in Ubuntu 13.04; something I never expect. It worked right out of the box. It is light, but not flimsy. There is nothing sexy about this keyboard or the mouse; they disappear under the hands while working and get the job done. i received the mouse/keyboard, installation was great, but the mouse is fairly limited as to functionality, it works well enough and it is the only reason I gave this a four star instead of 5.

    • Pretty near perfect.
I have been looking for a mouse/keyboard combo for some time. Part of the problem is I am a cheap bastard so it had to be just the right price. I paid more for this than I wanted but I got tired of looking. My other requirement was a 5 button mouse. I got used to being able to move forward and back with a click. The layout of the multimedia keys is pretty good and are easy enough to get to. The mouse is light and responsive. Everything worked right out of the box. I would have preferred that the legs make the keyboard stand at a better angle but it will do. When will wireless keyboard makers get that a caps lock and number lock indicator should be standard.     • Keyboard Lags; Not Worth the Money
I purchased this product in April and have had problems with it from day one. The keyboard seemed to lag a lot and started performing odd functions all on it's own. I replaced the batteries thinking it was just the original set dying but nope. The keyboard still continues to lag and have problems. I went online to look at returning it and my return window is closed. Very disappointed. Will not order for myself or anyone else in my company in the future. ... show more

Before I joined the streaming community, I ran a long HDMI cable from my computer in one room to the TV in another. This keyboard and mouse worked in the other room, even with the door closed, without any loss (meaning, I hit a key, the computer responded just as fast as if I were sitting in front of it). But it's noisy. If you appreciate the old-fashioned "klickety-klack" sound, then you'll enjoy this. But when my wife is in bed, the klickety-klacketting annoys the bejeezus out of her! ... show more

The keyboard has a decent feel but not a good as some others I have used in the past. The mouse is small for me and a little difficult to use, but I have big hands so it may be good for others.
