I was really hoping this would help prevent the glare of the sun while using a laptop outside, but all it does for that is darken the screen to the point where I still can't use the laptop. Inside, the screen does provide the privacy I need while working from home, so I can't really fault it much for the glare thing. The magnetic strips make it extremely easy to attach and detach as necessary. I don't feel it's easy to store on the back of the case, though, as a long-term solution. While it attaches easily to the back once the magnets are stuck on, it really runs the risk of scratches and damage. I would attach the screen cover/sleeve to the back instead, but it is too big for the cover. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This privacy screen works great! I had no trouble installing it, and my MacBook still closes and goes to sleep as normal. It does a great job of obscuring the screen and works exactly like I wanted it to. One small annoying thing is that it gets bubbles under the screen. I have the matte side facing out, so I know it’s because the glossy side is sticking to my screen. this privacy is the best option out there to buy, the only downside is that the laptop does not close 100% all the way with it on, and it can be susceptible to bending.

It does what I need it to. However, mine came with a kink at the bottom and protrudes out. Making it so I cannot use the Matt side--only the gloss side. Otherwise it facilitates my needs.

It fits very well and the magnets work great. The caring case fell apart but other than that the product is good. Note: you do have to turn the brightness of the computer up.

I expected better than the subpar viewing angles that extend well beyond 30 degrees. In other words, it's a privacy screen but it is definitely visible from greater than the claimed 30 degrees. Someone next to you, say on a flight for example, can still see most of your screen especially if you increase the brightness to compensate for having the privacy screen. This is not worth $30. More like $10-$15 I would say. It's two steps forward, one step back. The magnets are great for holding it to the screen on my Macbook Air. It does leave a little gap which I'm fine with.
