I really can't comment on the easiness of the installation because I didn't put it up, but it only took my handyman like 15 minutes. Just like any other rod you'll need a drill for new brackets. Looks nice and love the color. Can't comment on sturdiness either since I don't have the drapes yet, but it's constant with most curtain rods I've purchased in my 54 years. ... show more

I'd like to add a clarification to the "Size Matters" review, which says "The issue with the rod that I have is it advertised for 28" to 48". If you need it to be close to 48" get the larger rod. Once it extends to about 45" It sags in the middle A LOT." This does not apply for the 48 to 86-inch item, since you get three supports and the one in the middle keeps the bar straight. And I don't agree with the review titled "Needs improvement" which states "The problem is that there is no way to keep the rod the length you want it. There is no screw portion to the center so every time I open my drapes the bar spreads out also." There are screws that go through each of the three supports to hold the bars in place. They are a bit difficult to loosen and tighten, but once you have done so, the bars seem to be held in place quite adequately. Now these rods are quite thin (and one is obviously thinner than the other so that they can telescope), and the supports are basically painted, flat hooks, but for this price I think they have done a very good job at making the item look classy. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This rod was a perfect fit for the windows in my daughters room. I needed this to be sturdy as I was hanging up blackout curtains and this was perfect! Not flimsy in the middle like some rods can be and holds up great when my 2yo feels like tugging on the curtains.

Was surprised at the quality of this product for the minimal price it cost. The finish has enough variation that you could use it in many different color palettes. It’s perfect for guest bedrooms, bathrooms and smaller scale rooms. The females are not substantial enough to use in larger rooms. Hope this helps ... show more

This is the worst curtain rod i have ever used. I know I did not purchase a high end rod but... it looks & feels even cheaper than my already low expectations. But it's a curtain... I thought how bad can it be? Answer: bad, really bad. The end cap will not go on correct and it feels like it will snap off it I try to adjust so it is not usable. This curtain rod is like the toys you get from the quarter toy machines but instead of a toy it's a curtain rod. The Positive: The seller was great and it was a very easy return ... show more

I really like this rod. It’s small and dainty, perfect for my curtains in the living room since my apt living room window is so small. I rated it 1 star for “easy to install” because I had no clue what I was doing when I tried hanging up the rod (LOL). At the end my dad had to come over and hang it up for me, naturally he had no issues whatsoever. Definitely would recommend if dainty and simple is what you’re looking for. ... show more

This is a beautiful curtain rod. Not sure what it's made out of (I'm sure the description says so,) but it feels like painted wood. It has a nice texture, and has a distressed finish. It is decorative, while still being simple/minimal. Also was easy/straightforward to install. I'm glad I purchased this curtain rod, and would buy more if I had more windows. ... show more
