The telescoping rod adjusts to fit your window and projects 3 inches from the wall. The Rachel Curtain Rod is recommended for light and medium weight curtains. Great for back tab, pocket and tab top curtains. This versatile curtain rod is ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and kitchens. Mounting brackets, hardware and instructions are included. The use of a center support when the curtain rod is extended further than 48 inches is recommended

This is the worst curtain rod i have ever used. I know I did not purchase a high end rod but... it looks & feels even cheaper than my already low expectations. But it's a curtain... I thought how bad can it be? Answer: bad, really bad. The end cap will not go on correct and it feels like it will snap off it I try to adjust so it is not usable. 48 - 86 inches may not be enough. If you buy 2 sets, you can assemble the two thinner rods into one (now located in the center) thicker rod. The thinner rods will meet in the center of that rod and allow for a spread of no less than 92 inches. If you fully extend both thinner rods you get about 128 inches of spread (a theoretical 132 inches won't allow sufficient overlap). You are left one with center piece, 44 inches (nonadjustable of course), and you'll still have the two end pieces to complete the look (though you will have to pull out the short plastic sleeve on one end). ... show more

I’m a girl and had this rod installed in 10 minutes. It looks great and holds the curtains up great! No sagging nothing! Mine came with a middle anchor! Very pleased and would definitely buy again!!

When they say the material is "Metal," clearly, that's an operative word. These are some kind of coated flimsy material that may or may not be plastic-based. From a distance, these look okay, but the caps are REALLY cheap looking and in fact are a different color than the rods themselves.The finial ends are the silver color pictured, but the rod itself is more of a goldish color. You can't really tell too much until you have a curtain with silver grommet holes that clearly match the ends but not the rod. I was going to use them in our dining room, but they have been banished to the office instead where the rods are hidden by pocket-topped curtains. I haven't had good experiences with returning items on Amazon, or I would with these. Totally disappointed after these had such great reviews from others. ... show more

    • Thin rod, brackets don't extend

I paid $24.99 for this rod, but the included brackets were too short (too close to wall), so I had to spend another $20 on extendable brackets supporting this 5/8" rod. This rod is very thin and not the most standard thickness, so if you need extendable brackets you will have less choice to pick from and matching colors exactly will be hard to impossible. I learned my lesson, next time I'll go for a package of 1 inch rod including extendable brackets. ... show more

The picture as advertised does not represent what you get. It really is all about perspective so I added a picture with some perspective. Of course this is my fault. A few clues “decorative” window treatment in the description should have been a dead give away. I didn’t notice the dimensions though I’m sure I didn’t read well enough. I still think a little “bait and switch” was involved. Lesson learned. You can learn from my lesson. Buyer beware. ... show more

This was purchased for my daughter's bedroom window. I wanted something white or off white--was a bit concerned about the distress looking old and tired--not matching the white trim in the room or around the window frame--boy was I wrong! I had some light curtains on and this looks lovely! I replaced with my winter curtains and it started to bow in the center. I could probably put a center bracket in the wall but I don’t want another hole. They’re perfect for a normal light weight curtain though! I like the finish!
