I ordered this bag along with 2 others to compare side by side. This was the cheapest by a long shot, yet definitely competed with the others in the $250-300 price range. I did not ultimately choose this bag but it was a close call. Pros: - The handle goes up and down smoothly - Handle is sturdier than most - Handle grip is nice. The chrome edges look high end (it's still just plastic, which is good and bad—cheap, but also low weight) - The wheels are solid and roll nicely - lightweight, especially considering the strength of the exterior, handle and wheels. A more impressive ratio than most... - Exterior finish is nice. Looks professional. Less gaudy than nearly anything else under $100 Cons: - Branding. The inside is hideously stamped with 1000 Kenneth Cole logos. - Though everything about the bag is decent, it's amazing at nothing. - The expandable part seems to make the bag a little flimsier than it's benefit may be worth. If I had decided on this bag, I may have gone for the similar but non-expandable version. Overall, I'm still not confident I made the right decision in not choosing this bag. I ended up keeping the Victorinox Spectra 2.0 Dual Access bag. It rolled like butter, looked more stylish, had a slightly better handle, and better design overall... but was also triple the price. Love love love the color! My only issue is that as soon as I got them I took the medium size and carry-on on a flight. The interior zipper on the medium size malfunctioned and was split when I arrived at my hotel and the stitching in it is giving away already. That’s so very disappointing. I love the color and need hard shell luggage for frequent travels.. but I don't know that this is the set for needed durability. ... show more

I had an old soft-sided Kenneth Cole bag that has been all over the world with me and finally got too old. I was a little leery of switching to a hard sided bag because I though it would have less space. I also though that having 4 wheels (the old one had 2) was going to steal some space. But i have lived for 5 days out of this bag in China with no issues (I used the expansion zipper). Also the rubber wheels are very smooth and quiet and easy to get onto a plane when I don't check (which i normally do). One lady on Southwest complained that the bag did not have a side handle and so my bag was a little harder (for them) to handle. But they seem to be doing fine with it on all my trips. And despite that I check it most of the time, the surface (mine is black) is holding up very well. ... show more

Good quality. Lots of pockets. I got this to replace old hard side luggage that my parents passed down from the 1960s. Appears to be of the same quality as the old kind.
