My husband had used this bag for work-travel for several years and when I needed to pick up a true carry-on, not a 'I can cram it in, no really, I swear' like so many folks roll up with, I decided to give this one a try. I am profoundly pleased. I was a little worried that the hardshell would be more difficult to eke out every cubic inch of space with versus filling my hybrid bottom hardshell-top soft shell. Previously, I had great luck with filling and then using the compression straps to bring the volume and profile down. But this bag is just plain roomier than it seemed and easily held a week's worth of casual clothes plus my very economically sized toiletries bag. I think this is a great solo vacation bag for an efficiency packer and a sturdy, useful carryon for the more normal folks out there! I have four of these bags. Three carry-ons and one 28” bag that gets checked. Two of the carry-ons have been used on 4+ domestic flights and many road-trips. I haven’t had an issue with them at all. The zippers have worked as normal, even when stuffed. The wheels have worked great. They maneuver smoothly. My four year old pulls one just fine. My husband isn’t particularly soft or careful with them either. Throws them in and out of the car. My son has sat and bounced on them. They have held up great for 2+ years of trips. One of the wheels broke after one flight and will not turn anymore. It is now hard to wheel it around. Not a durable product for the price. UPDATE: the 30 day return window on Amazon had closed. So I contacted the manufacturer via email and supplied the Amazon receipt as well as the picture above. Within one week they shipped me a brand new unit at no charge. This little lightweight suitcase is perfect for the traveler who never checks a bag and has long and far to go. I crammed 4 formal dresses, a puffy crinoline, 3 pairs of shoes (including sneakers), full makeup bag and a nightgown into it for a weekend in Vegas and ol' Kenny and them held up beautifully. It was easy to maneuver through the airport, down the airplane aisle and shove into the overhead baggage compartment. My only complaint—if you forget to pack something and you have to add it, you have to unzip the whole case to put it in. The zippers inside and out seem a little flimsy, but that just means I need to be gentle with it and not rough. No scrapes, no scratches, no dents so far. It's too tiny to take on long haul trips exclusively, but it's a nice addition for when I need extra baggage. ... show more

Arrived timely & appears good quality. However the inside contains a strong plastics odor which is very unpleasant. I aired it out almost 24hrs before a trip and yet my clothing still smelled awful once I arrived at my destination & unpacked. I have left it open since returning home & have another trip in a few wks. We shall see if 2months of airing out will help. So far it’s still noticeable. Have taken a few plane trips with the luggage and so far no issues. It’s light weight travels well. I have 3 pieces 18, 24,28. I would suggest getting the clear luggage covers for storage when back home.
