The luggage collection features high-strength, hardside, diamond textured and diamond embossed ABS exteriors, along with fully-lined, tear resistant interiors. Its lightweight and spacious construction helps you adhere to airline weight restrictions and avoid unneeded airport fees, while its expandable zipper feature allows the bag to expand an additional 2” for extra carrying capacity. Multi-directional 8-wheel spinners allow for smooth, 360-degree movement over any rough surface for complete mobility free-weight rolling, relieving any pressure from your arms while on the move. The luggage also features molded corner guard reinforcements to help to absorb and deflecting shock for maximum impact resistance. When it comes to packing, Diamond Tower luggage is great for keeping your belongings organized. The fully-lined, main compartment interior features a large divider panel with a ventilated, mesh zipper pocket and buckles, along with a side hanging zipper pocket made to store smaller items. Under the lid, a large U-shaped zipper pocket allows for dual sided packing, a zippered mesh pocket, and elastic shoe pockets. Flexible top, side, and bottom grab handles on each piece allow for easier lifting, and molded side feet featured on the 28-inch size allow the suitcase to stand upright on its side. I hesitated to buy these because of the many reviews about their breaking; but I went ahead after reading an article in which seasoned travelers rated this brand to be very durable. I love that both halves of the suitcases can be secured and self-contained. There are so many small storage compartments for odds and ends, and my clothes for a two-week trip still left some wiggle-room in the 28-inch suitcase. And though it may seem like a very small consideration, I LOVE the diamond pattern and the smokey purple color - it is very attractive. It's hard to find luggage in a shade of purple that I don't consider almost childishly bright. My luggage suffered NO damage on my two-week road trip other than, perhaps, very light scuffing (which is to be expected, nothing stays pristine forever). Granted, I doubt that my sister or I handled it as roughly as it might have been in a luggage-checking situation; but it seems to me to be very solidly built. The 20-inch suitcase was loaded heavily with several (heavy) books and my computer (it was heavier than the 28-inch when packed) and bore the weight just fine. The 28-inch also bore the weight of having that on top of it for five separate loadings/trips just fine though it was packed more loosely. ... show more

I like what I see right out of the box. Only thing I'm not liking is the interior lining. Feels cheap & very plastic-ee. I worry it's not going to be durable. I expected more of a cloth feel/liner. Time will tell. I love all the pockets, which was probably the deciding factor in the purchase. I wanted a locking suitcase, but I guess I wanted the pockets more. I also really like the design of the shell of the case. Just wish there was more color options. I got black. Wheels roll very smoothly. Zippers zips effortlessly. It's lightweight & perfect size for my 5 yr old granddaughter to use as she has 2 homes. This way she will always have what she needs at both homes.     • Never got it out the door…
I wanted to love this carry on. The reviews were mixed but I decided to try it for myself. Unfortunately, a lot of the negative reviews are correct. The look of the carry on is nice. I love the color and design and the inside is spacious but that’s about as far as it goes for me. I purchased this just over a month ago and it has been sitting in a corner since then. Yesterday I decided to start packing for a trip that is a little over a week away. Everything seemed fine and I was thrilled with this little bag. I did notice that it was catching when I tried to roll it but I told myself it was something I could work around. The handle that extends is also very loose and feels extremely cheap when extended. At one point I picked the bag up and started to turn it and realized the plastic piece that covers the zipper seam on the side that holds the bag together had a gaping hole. After inspecting I found that the plastic piece was unstitched about half way down the bag leaving it unusable. There is a fabric piece inside the bag that hides the seam when it’s open so I wasn’t able to see it while packing it. I am so thankful I noticed this before I got out of the house with it! Amazon has offered a replacement since it is outside of the return window but this particular bag is currently “out of stock”. When I asked multiple times if that would delay shipping or if they could give me an eta, the questions were avoided and the conversation was cut off. So as much as I appreciate the replacement, I am now left needing another carry on within a week which means more money out of my pocket. I am beyond frustrated. It looks like some people have had a lot of luck with these luggage pieces but be aware if you decide to purchase… the reviews are true. Be prepared just in case. ... show more
