I was stationed on a navy base in Connecticut 5 years ago, I bought these 2 machines used, from a guy who bought them from other service members who transferred out of that base to another base somewhere around the world, that was this man's business, to buy, fix, and resell appliances to the thousands of navy personel moving in and out of the area, we were a family of 4 including 2 toddlers. These machines lasted for 2 years of very heavy daily use and never gave us an issue. When I transferred out, I called him and sold them back to him for $300 both, I payed $500, I wouldn't be surprised if those things are still washing military uniforms. The reason I wrote this review is because now I own 2 "state of the art" Samsung machines, and they are a piece of trash! I have to disconnect them every night or they won't work the next day, it's like the software in them crashes and it resets after a while without power. I will never ever buy another touchscreen appliance. With these type of things you need simplicity and cheap to fix if it malfunctions. Based on my experience I strongly recommend these two specific models, you can find them cheaper though! I will buy them again one of these days when the ones I have get the best of me and throw them away, and Samsung is ignoring the issue, their fridges are the same thing, they even have a lawsuit going against them because of their fridges. ... show more
