This dryer was the cheapest form of a Kenmore product that I’ve ever seen the knobs are cheap. You can barely turn them. I’ll be lucky if this last a full year the lint trap doesn’t close all the way the door barely closes all the way. After this, I would never buy another Kenmore product and I’ve used Kenmore all my life. I have a wash machine that I bought used from a friend 27 years ago and still going strong. Great dryer, only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because of the delivery guys. Delivery, set up and removal of old is included. I admit that I have a difficult basement to get into to, my entryway to basement for delivery is a shute. That being said they showed up The one guy got out of truck came into access getting it in then flat out said he wasn’t doing it. I argued with him what was promised in delivery . Then he called someone then came back in said he would do it, mean while his partner said he wasn’t helping so one guy did it himself. Needless to say dryer was scratched in many places but he did set up and install. The guy then refused to take out old dryer. One plus they bring all the new pieces to connect including new gas line to connect to gas pipe and the hose that hooks to vent out the hot air. The dryer works great. ... show more

We have had Kenmore washers and dryers for years, we tried a Whirlpool front load washer and it stopped working just after the warranty expired then we bought a 1 year extended warranty and it stopped working again just after that warranty expired so we went back to the basic Kenmore and haven't had any problems We just replaced the dryer only because the back seal wore out and the part was no longer available, we won't buy any other brand again unless they stop making Kenmore. ... show more

Our old dryer had been going out for the past couple months, so we were checking all the local big box and appliance stores for a good deal on a gas dryer. Labor Day sales came and the dryers we were looking at only dropped in price by a few bucks. During this time I never once thought to look on Amazon for a dryer, even though we do much of our shopping here. But finally I looked. To my surprise, not only did Amazon have a better deal than any of the other retailers we checked, but they included free delivery, installation, and parts. All things I would have paid extra for at other stores. I ended up saving over $100. We are very happy with the dryer, it is quiet, dries quickly, and has all the features we need for a good name-brand basic dryer. So glad we found this! Highly recommend. How easy to order, and less expensive that if I'd gone directly thru Sears!! It was delivered in 2 days (in the time window I picked), they delivered it to the 2nd floor laundry room (without damaging anything), hooked it all up, and carted away the old one. Price even includes the gas line and vent hose -- this was a great experience! Highly recommend! Dryer is similar to the one I had before (for 11 yrs). So far it's working great! ... show more
