I purchased this washer to replace my 24 year old Kenmore that I brought at Sears in 2001, that washer was a workhorse so I trust the Kenmore brand to put out a quality and durable product, so far I am satisfied with the wash the new touchscreen controls are easy to understand and I am hoping they hold up for half the years that the mechanical controls of my old Kenmore lasted, its a very quiet washer and the size specifications were similar to the one it replaced. I love this washer!!! It looks great in our laundry room and was super easy to set up and use right away. The clear top is a nice touch-I love being able to see inside while it runs. The chimes it plays are a small but fun detail that makes laundry feel less like a chore. The triple action agitator really does an amazing job getting my clothes clean, even the tough loads. It's powerful but still easy to use, and I haven't had any issues with it. Overall, I'm really happy with how well it works and how much I actually enjoy using it! ... show more

I scored this washing machine during Prime Day at an unbeatable price, much better value than what I saw at other big-box retailers. I opted for the full delivery package, including installation and haul-away. That part I’d rate three stars. There were a couple of hiccups with the delivery crew. First, I had to remind them that, per Amazon’s installation service, the washing machine hookup hoses should be included. One installer said they weren’t, but his partner quickly corrected him. Second, they told me I’d need to disconnect the water lines from the old machine myself, even though Amazon’s site clearly states that disconnection is part of the service. As for the washing machine itself: it runs incredibly quietly and handles large loads with ease, which is a huge plus in a household with two kids and never-ending laundry. All in all, despite the delivery confusion, I’m thrilled with the product and the deal I got. ... show more

Box delivered. Looked great. I opened and started to unwrap to find the following dirt, stains, scratches, and dent. Clearly a used machine. Started a return and was offered $208 to keep it as is???!!! No. I want the new machine I ordered. Wasn't even offered a replacement, just a refund.

    • Very impressed with this washer
I am very impressed with this washer which I purchased to replace our Maytag 4.2 PowerWash agitator washer that only lasted 7 1/2 months. I'm glad I reviewed washers (and prices) ahead of time but even with positive reviews of this machine it even exceeds far more than what I'd expected. I just hope it lasts longer than the Maytag. I particularly like that I can change the water depth which I couldn't with the Maytag. It's the perfect size for us since it's just my husband and I and occasionally grandkids laundry. It's easy to figure out the settings and I'm really liking the timer that lets me know how much longer the load runs until finished. Amazon had the best price and quicker delivery than Home Depot plus shipping was free with Prime and Amazon's return policy is far better. My husband installed the washer with the hoses that we were using with the Magtag and this Kenmore came with it's on drain hose. I was able to catch up with my backload of laundry (one week from ordering to delivery) within minutes of having the washer delivered. I'd give this machine 10 stars!! ... show more
