These shears look and feel great in my hand. I wanted to love these, however, upon 1st use, the teeth locked up. I followed the mfg's videos on correcting the catching teeth, however, after loosening, tightening, and adjusting, the teeth continued to lock in the same place. I looked under a lighted magnifier and noticed a pinch point along one tooth and another pinch point along the straight blade opposite the blade pinch point. I did not use the shears until 12/10/2025 after receiving it on 11/02/2025. I am past the return window for Amazon, however, Kenchii's warranty should cover this. I will update my review after I have worked with Kenchii on returning the shears for repair or replacement as their warranty states. I look forward to using these to blend the coat on my Miniature American Shepherd (MAS). ... show more

These are hands down the worst thinning shears you could spend your money on. You’d get better results with a pair of scissors from the dollar store. The first pair jammed after just two cuts, and the replacement was unusable straight out of the box.

If these are real kenchii brand then they have severely reduced their quality. They feel cheaply made in your hand and don’t cut well. Save your money and don’t get these. Especially if you’re a professional.
