We used this to keep a jet ski in place while at the lake, and it worked well. It was a bit more lightweight than I was expecting. We didn't try using it with our speedboat. It does take up very little space and is pretty easy to use, provided you have enough sand to use it and not mostly rock.

Awesome tool for tying of boats, floating islands, etc to shore. I used to bring a rope and cinder block. Now I bring this light weight, easily stored anchor. I usually make sure I can find a rock to help pound it in. Having a small cut piece of 2x4 wood in the truck or bag with it helps to put between rock and top of anchor when pounding it into the ground.

This small jet ski anchor works perfect for my application. It is heavy enough that you can throw it out and it works using friction on the bottom or you can hammer it in the sand to use it as a spike. It fits in a jet ski well but I wouldn’t use it for anything larger as it would likely unseat or become disconnected. Overall really happy with this purchase, 5/5 stars!

We have kayaks and often go to a man made lake not too far away. It’s a big lake with many coves flanked by sandy beach areas. This anchor works well for sticking into the sand and holding both our kayaks in a nice shady spot to take a break. We have bungees with carabiner ends that easily clip onto the open catches at the top of the anchor. It easily pushes down into the sand right at the waters edge and when not in use it easily stores under our tie down hold at the back of the kayak.

I have a 2015 16ft gheenoe and have been looking for a light weight anchor option and this is perfect. It doesnt come with a tie down rope so be prepared to purchase one separately

This is a nice weight and is easy to carry around. It is simple to use - you just push it into the sand to anchor. It can be on a beach, or in water. It will hold well as long as it isn't subjected to a strong current or heavy winds. The metal is strong enough that it won't bend if you stand on it to push it in. This is strong enough to hold floats that you want to tie off, or to secure a small vessel such as a jon boat or a kayak. It would probably even hold a regular sized boat that is tied off at a sand bar on a mild day. Just don't confuse this type of anchor with the type that you drop into the water and it holds on its own. This is for light use and it does require you to work it into the ground to hold.
