These sand weight plates are pretty nifty! Each one is 25 lbs, and you get two in the set. Filling them with sand wasn’t too hard. I struggled a little with the first one, but the second went much smoother (definitely user error). I really like that there are internal partitions to keep the sand evenly distributed, so it doesn’t all settle at the bottom. That’s a really smart design choice. They’re perfect for anyone living in an apartment who wants to work out at home. They make a great alternative to traditional bumper plates since they help reduce noise and are safer for small spaces. The barbell opening is solid and sturdy — it fit perfectly on my 45 lb Olympic bar with no issues. All in all, you really can’t go wrong with these sand weight plates. They’re durable, come in a variety of sizes, and the two built-in handles make them super versatile for different exercises. Great design, easy to use, and ideal for apartment living. These are awesome! *Note: I bought a 50lb bag of sand however it only filled each one to 22.5. So an extra 2.5 would probably fill the plates out more.
