Bathing suits are almost impossible to shop for! I had FINALLY found a bathing suit last year that I thought was the perfect bathing suit. I’m a plus size. It’s hard to find the right “fit”. The top fit great. The bottoms I “thought” fit great. Well, the bottoms didn’t! I was humiliated! I started trying to find bottoms that would go with my bathing suit top when I came across these. I didn’t want another mishap! These bathing suit “shorts” are great! They have a built in “brief” inside the shorts for that extra layer of protection. You don’t have to worry about them falling down and showing anything to anyone! The little ruffled bottoms make for a stylish look; while black goes with everything! I’m SO glad I found these! I will say that these seem to run a little large on me (esp keeping in mind that when you get in the water your clothes don’t fit the same). I noticed when I went to order, Amazon put in the size they thought would fit best. I’m usually a 26/28. They were recommending a size 24. I didn’t see how this was possible! My others fell down last time I wore them. I shop on Amazon a lot, though. I would think they have an idea of what sizes I would need based on past purchases. I decided to trust Amazon. I’m SO glad I did! They fit perfectly! 😊 I would just suggest ordering one or two sizes down because these do seem to fit larger than usual. I would definitely recommend these swimming bottoms! I’m not a fan of a bathing suit, but now it feels like I’m wearing more of an outfit than I am a bathing suit, and that makes me the most comfortable! These help me do just that!

Decent material and workmanship for the price. Large fits a size 12-14 Does not dry very quickly and the weight of the water makes the shorts a little baggy. I’ll let you know if the color survives a chlorinated pool.

I like these swim shorts ok but I think they run a little small compared to other brands. One thing I would have liked if they were a bit longer in leg length. They tend to ride up and not hang well. Good for a spare.

I really like these sorts/bathing suit bottom. I am 66 years old, and love to swim and kayak. These are the perfect length and seem to stay put. They do not float out, like a bathing skirt does, and they hide the belly that not everyone needs to see. I purchased the 3XL, and they fit perfect. I normally wear a 24 in pants and these fit the same way. The material is nice, can't see thru them. I purchased the black pair. I have several different types of bathing suit tops that match them very well. They dry fast, and look great after multiple uses so far. I may buy another pair just to have them.

This may or may not be true for everyone. I wear, usually, a 3X depending on how the prednisone affects the weight, but I purchased a 4X as a just in case. The 4X fits really well, so it makes we wonder if a 3X would have been to small for me. I do have large thighs and buttocks (stupid genetics...lol), so this does affect how clothing fits on me. Since my body is shaped like this, a 4X provided me with more material to cover up these areas. I am not positive but maybe, if my body was not shaped like this, a 3X would have fit fine.

At first when I started to try this on, it started to make a crackling sound like when clothes slightly tear to break into them. But product doesn't seem like it would tear at all. Really comfortable and breathable. Good quality and fit. My only problem is that it's not very flattering by the legs but maybe that's something I can shrink to not be so eh.
