These boots are really cute and comfortable. Unfortunately in a size 9.5, I couldn't get past how BIG they looked on my feet. I think it's the turquoise toe cover. The other negative for me was the opening to get my foot in the boot. The lacing is higher on the shoe which made it harder to get my foot in. Once in, the boot if very comfy, true to size. I usually wear a 9 or 9.5 in sneakers 9.5 worked best in this shoe. Very comfortable overall but uncomfortable at tip of shoe due to its inflexibility ( left tip of big toe sore). Toe box wide and comfortable otherwise. Biggest problem is a design flaw in some very hard stitching that hits the ankles making it hard to tie the boots as tight they should be. Leaving them too loose defeats the purpose of the ankle support mid height shoes provide. Wanted to love them but I’m going to try low height shoes instead. ... show more

I absolutely love this pair of shoes. I spent the week hiking on somewhat rugged trails including, rock, mud, gravel, ice, and even several waterfalls/streams. They were comfortable, did not take on water, and had excellent traction on the ice. We hiked 3-5 miles a day for 3 days and my feet never hurt once. They are lightweight. They are easy to lace up and tighten/loosen. I am 5 foot 2 inches, and they were the perfect height on my ankle. I really don’t have a single negative thing to say about them. ... show more
