The media could not be loaded. Video honey slippery deck no I took it on the trail with slippery rocks, did not do well on wet wood plank but nothing does, Treads are great. Even though the shoe is made of soft material there is excellent lateral support due to the way the sole is at sides and because the for stays with the shoe. Nothing worse than a foot moving all over the place in the shoe. I was putting my foot in the pool just to check water resistance and it's been great. I have been using these for several days at first, they seemed as if they were pushing my ankles out words but then when I put them on more carefully they didn't do that. They are the best I've had for my trail running. I do not like the trail running sneakers they sell because the support is not there and when you're running through some tricky Trails it's too easy to roll an ankle. You need something with real support something that's going to deliver so that you can. The Teva ones that I tried on had a huge circumference; they could fit three feet in one shoe and therefore were very dangerous, so I returned them. I LOVED the look of this hiking shoe/boot however had to return it. The right one was way tighter than the left one. While from the outside the shoe appears to have a wide toe box, the inside was a lot more narrow than all the other keens I’ve tried on. Such a bummer because this is the best looking one yet. I wanted it to work so bad, bought two. A size 9 and a size 10. Same issue for both. Left one fit fine on both shoes. I even had my 13 year old daughter with very narrow feet try them on and she could notice/feel the difference between left and right not fitting the same. So sad.
