  • Stand up charger is slow
The stand up charger is not as fast as the flat one. I don't like to use these for traveling but for spots around the house that you can just set your phone and let it charge for a bit.

  • Works great with IPhone X & Mophie Juice Pack Air (mfi)
This is my second attempt at trying Qi wireless charging. I first tried the Samsung 2018 Qi wireless stand and when my iPhone with Mophie juice pack air was 100% it would wake me in the middle of the night with my phone turning on and then it making the plugged in noise. After one night I returned the Samsung and tried the Anker. I have a lot of Anker products and was hoping this set would work out for my bedroom and my office desk. I am happy to say that it works better then expected and both the stand and disk do not get hot. I seem to get about 10% battery fill in about 10-15min. My Mophie juice pack air supports Qi wireless charging to 10w and then charges the iPhone through the lightning connector. I did have to purchase 2x Of the Anker Qi power 3.0 adapters to get the 10w charge. The stand is perfect for charging. I am not going to lie, the plastic it is made out of feels a bit cheap, but it works well and it is cheap compared to the heavy Samsung Qi charger. The flat disc is also very good, but I have to place my phone in a certain spot for it to charge. If I don’t do it right, it won’t charge. It probably has to do more with the Mophie then the Anker Disc. So to recap Cons -it is very well priced -works as designed -does not get warm or hot -doesn’t make any buzzing noises and doesn’t have any fans. -small blue charging light is not annoying and doesn’t keep me up at night Cons -cheaper plastic -have to buy wall adapters separate. ... show more

  • No more plugging/unplugging!
I have an iPhone 6S. I found out I could get a cordless charging case for it, so I ordered that and this set of Anker wireless chargers. Finally got around to switching the case, and set up the chargers, and-yay! no more messing around with the lightning cables! I was so happy I ordered a second Anker set. So I have one at work, one in my kitchen, one by my computer, and I think I will put the fourth one in my car. I've been using non-powered phone stands because it gives me a consistent place to set my phone, I don't have to look around to see where I set it down. So now it's also charging! I use the upright stands where there's a chance there might be a liquid spill, and the flat ones where that is unlikely. Tiny downside: The case I use (not from Anker) won't sync the phone, just charge through the lightning port, so I will have to remove the phone from the case or set up wireless syncing. The case will also fit iPhone 7, so I can use it if I upgrade to that, and if I get newer, I won't need the case but can still use the Anker charging stands. ... show more

  • Anker wireless charging stand & pad (bundle) is money well spent for a wireless charging option
Initially, I purchased this wireless bundle after missing so many calls trying to unplug my phone so I can answer the call. After plugging the charging pads in, I immediately noticed, the pads go into a sleep/standby mode when they not in use. I purchased the bundle pack (wireless stand & pad) cause I had a Duracell Qi pad from an old Asus phone that had wireless charging, but wouldn’t charge the my newly acquired iPhone XS Max. Confirmed the Qi pad in the phone worked after testing it at AT&T, I did a little research to discover a new wireless charging option for my new phone. After watching several YouTube videos & various google searches, I figured I’d give Anker a shot because of all the positive reviews & recommendations received even though I never heard of them till now. A bit disappointed they don’t include two 3.0 fast chargers in this bundle but figured, that would throw the bundle cost over $50, in which, this bundle is half that price. I just unboxed them & plugged them in 30 mins prior to writing this. I put the 3.0 quick charger stand on my desk & put the pad on my night stand cause you don’t need quick charging over night. Overall, I’m a very happy camper. Money well spent to get away from having to constantly plug/unplug in my phone. ... show more

  • wireless, no cable
This is my first dip into the world of wireless charging and I must say so far I am impressed. I've read previous reviews stating these are really sensitive and won't charge unless sitting perfectly square or that phones slip off them, etc. Well I can say for one that slipping shouldn't be an issue anymore as the PowerWave Pad seems to have a rubbery feel to it making slip a non-issue now. From what I have noticed your phone does have to be pretty square on to start charging, but I wouldn't call it sensitive. Obviously if your phone is dangling half off there might be issues. The upside to using wireless charging is less wear and tear on the USB port of the phone. We all probably know somebody who has had issues with this on previous phones giving out and forcing them to buy a new phone because they can't charge the battery. Not to mention, there is no cord to worry about. I've been guilty of grabbing my phone and walking away only to have my phone yanked out of my hand and either damaging the phone as it hits the ground or the cable/port when it gets forcibly removed. The worst that's going to happen now is your phone stops charging until you set it back onto the pad. ... show more

  • Excellent charger
This was the second one of these chargers I have purchased. My household got a second phone that can use wireless charging so I bought it again. The first one still works great. Easy to use and doesn't wobble or feel cheap, a blue light comes on at base to tell you the phone is charging, it also comes on for a few seconds when you first plug the charger in to the wall socket, that's what I did for my picture to show the light in the on position. A+ product. ... show more
