  • Price was lowered by Amazon same week Prime Day ended.
Size: 11 Color: Syrup/Boysenberry
Boots as expected, but Amazon lowering price within a few days after Prime Day in the same week, is not a good look.

  • Not waterproof.
Size: 8 Wide Color: Steel Grey/Cloud Blue
These have a great fit, wide toe box. Great ankle support. Not enough padding and are not waterproof.

  • Narrow foot hole
Size: 8.5 Color: Steel Grey/Cloud Blue
Love them but they're harder to get on than the Targee 3 because there toungue is attached higher up the shoe so the hole is smaller. If my ankles are sore or swollen they are tougher to get on. True to size. Don't order up. Plenty of extra toe room but shoe fit keeps foot from sliding. Narrow fit.

  • Solid boot
Size: 11 Color: Steel Grey/Cloud Blue
As is typical of Keen, the toe box is nice and wide. I struggled a bit to get my left foot into the boot as the tongue doesn’t lift all the way up. I’m guessing this is to keep the boot waterproof. My left foot has been through some trauma and surgeries, so it was a struggle to bend my foot enough to slide it in. But with some wiggling, I was able to get it in. The top of the boot is a bit tight over the mid top of my left foot. But again, my foot has had some struggles. It isn’t painful, so I’m going to wear them around the house for a few days to see if it loosens up as I break them in. My right foot felt great! I swapped the insoles out for my custom orthotics, and while the left is still a tad tight, things feel better. Nice ankle support (I had hardware in my ankle and have a history of fractures so I’m prone to rolling my ankle- ankle support is a must for me). My old hiking boots were Ahnu’s and I was struggling over whether to buy these Keens or not as historically, I’ve felt Keens were heavy and clunky. They do feel a bit clunkier than am used to, but for the sale price, it’s not a full stop for me. I wish I could have got a half size bigger as I don’t think I will be able to wear super thick socks, but I tried them on with medium weight smart wool socks and my big toes were not touching the end. The real test will be going downhill, so we’ll see how they do next weekend. Overall, I think I will be happy with them once they wear in. ... show more

  • Good fit but be careful to not over-tighten laces
Size: 10.5 Color: Toasted Coconut/North Atlantic
Fit is nice with slightly larger toe ox than regular shoes. On the first pair, one of the top loops for laces broke on third time wearing. Got a replacement and I am being more careful tying. Worn several time and I like them.

  • Keep My Feet Warm And Dry
Size: 9 Color: Toasted Coconut/North Atlantic
I love these boots. I work outside all year round and I was tired of getting wet feet. I have stood in a puddle just to test these out, and my feet didn’t get wet. I’ve had them for almost a year now, and they have held up, even though I wear them every day that I work. Would definitely recommend.

  • Runs a little big
Size: 6 Color: Syrup/Boysenberry
Update: these boots have resulted in multiple falls for me, the last one being significant. Luckily it was on a flat trail and not near a cliff. The laces of one boot get caught in the top eyelet (or lace hook) of the other boot when walking. I’m not sure if this problem is specific to me, but I have not had this with any other boots that I’ve owned. Just a heads up that you may want to tuck the laces in. Ankle is a little stiff but gets more comfortable after the first couple miles. I ordered a size 6 and they fit good, maybe slightly big but that’s how you want them anyways if you do lots of uphill/downhill like I do. I’m posting a picture of them next to my size 7 Keen winter hiking books to show that either A) this style runs large, or B) that style runs small. Keep in mind these styles are 1 whole size apart but are the exact same size when put side by side. If you can figure out the size you need I’d definitely recommend these. ... show more

  • Wanted to love them, but too big
Size: 9.5 Color: Syrup/Boysenberry
These keen hiking boots seemed well made and looked good for hiking boots. It’s true the tongue is attached at the sides of the top, probably to help it be more waterproof. I probably couldn’t slip them on one-handed, but I got them on fine. However, they were too big. I bought my usual 9.5 and there was too much space all over. It wasn’t just too long, but also there was extra room on top of my foot. I couldn’t tighten the laces enough to make a snug fit. I thought about keeping them and wearing thicker/extra socks, but decided to return and try something else. ... show more
