This is my go to shoe for almost everything. I wear them for work, to walk the pup, light hiking. Clean them up and wear them out on the town. Wear them with the provided inserts but has enough room to wear with planter fasciitis inserts. Toe box is properly wide to allow your toes room. Easy to clean and use a little mink oil to condition the uppers.

This is my second pair this year. Great shoe. Comfortable, nice looking, but I struggle with the quality. It’s not what keene used to be. And the price has gone up exponentially. I will probably explore other shoe companies for my next pair

Normally a pair of shoes has to be replaced every three months but with these KEEN shoes they’ve lasted three times as long. Very well-built in built to last.

My search for some hiking shoes let me to try these KEEN hikers after not getting a good fit with another higher end hiking shoe. I wore these around the house for several days before taking them out on the street, just to be sure they were going to fit well, and the heel in the arch area. As advertised, there’s plenty of room in the toebox, but there’s a great fit for the arch and heel area, so the shoe feels great! I normally wear a size 11 in crosstrainers, and an 11 in this KEEN shoe worked perfectly. These make great looking casual everyday shoes. I love the leather, the shoes are easy to lace up to tighten them just right on my feet, and the tread has great grip. If anything changes after I actually go out on a hiking trail, I will add to this review. However, from what I’ve experienced so far, I believe they’re going to be comfortable and hopefully durable hiking shoes. I am pleased! UPDATE:I haven’t made it to the trail yet, but I teach school and have worn these to school several days… Today I realized they are more comfortable than the cross trainer sneakers that I usually wear. Very comfortable as I’m on my feet all day!

They fit, and felt, great out of the box. True to size. Unfortunately the left shoe of the pair I received had a small defect in the stitching (see photo), which I know from past experience could cause the stitched pieces to eventually separate, so I am returning them for replacement. Otherwise, high-quality footwear.

These are not waterproof (I knew that when I ordered), but they are reasonably water resistant. Your feet will eventually get wet if you continue to walk in say, wet grass for a while. This is even with a coating or two of camp dry. They fit well but the laces simply don't stay tightly tied so the shoes get "loose" throughout the day. I like the Keens I've had in the past, but I wouldn't buy these again.

I always have trouble finding shoes that are comfortable, and I'm very pleased with these, and all my Keen shoes, for that matter. They have a wide toe box, which is an absolute necessity for me. They're very comfortable right out of the box. All I had to do was remove their insoles and insert my orthotics. I checked the box marked Fit as expected, but that's because I have followed the advice of other Keen shoe reviewers and ordered a half size larger than my normal size. I now have 5 pairs of Keen shoes and got a half size bigger for each of them. I'm not sure why this is necessary, but it saves me the hassle of exchanging shoes that will be too small. These shoes list for $145, and I don't know how Amazon can sell them for less than $63 a pair, but since they do, I just ordered a second pair at that price. (I purchased Dark Earth/Mulch, size 9.5 regular - other sizes and colors might be more expensive).
