I am a golf course superintendent . This is the second pair of these keens I have bought in 8 months. The last pair fell apart in seven months this pair it didn’t even take one month. The souls are falling apart in less than a month as you can see in the picture this was not due to high moisture walking through the grass or digging with a shovel as I have been spending most of my time the last month sitting on a machine with dry feet. For some reason in the last 5 to 6 years teen has gone downhill they are not durable shoes they seem to be making more fashion shoes now and not taking into consideration workers. Do yourself a favor and find a better brand that won’t fall apart and forget these unless you don’t mind buying shoes every couple months

I wear either Keen or Merrell boots and shoes most days of the week just because they are great for my feet. I haven’t put a lot of miles on this boot yet but the fit, support and workmanship are first rate as are my other Keen shoes and sandals. I recommend Keen hikers to anyone looking for a quality boot at a fair price.

So far, quality is yet unsurpassed with Keen shoes. With these my husband is very happy, except a tiny bit tight, hoping they will stretch some with wearing them. I got a size 10 wide, he is happy with the length, and working them in. I do hope they hold together. He has worn KEEN for years now. Cannot find anything more comfortable than these.

I waited about 6 months to write a review. I think if you hike you will find some great top name brands that work. This KEEN is a very comfortable boot that I often will wear daily instead of my tennis shoes. It has kept my feet dry in rain. Very well padded. Worked great from the box. Very solid grommets to pull tight and very minimal wear in time. Love it. Did not go 4 stars until I have tried a year. It is a little heavy but not by a lot.

I use the Keen waterproof hikers for morning lawn cutting service. They stay dry but over heat in the afternoon temps. I put on the Keen vent hikers to finish out the day. I’m about 300 lbs. and they support my feet well. I’ve been using them daily for a few months and are holding up to hard use.
