Weighing 15.87 oz / 500 g (per shoe), made with durable, waterproof leather and featuring a moisture- wicking lining, the KEEN Men’s Targhee 3 Oxford Casual Hiking Shoe is built off KEEN's traditional wider footwear form. KEEN products are consciously created using a natural, pesticide-free probiotic-based technology called Eco Anti-Odor for breaking down odor in sweat, PFC-free water repellent (in applicable styles) and leather sourced from Leather Working Group (LWG)-certified tanneries. First, absolutely love the shoe. It looks good. It feels great. For most terrains in good weather, it's great. Internally, it is very well built. But there is one big caveat. If you head out on sedimentary stone like limestone or sandstone when it's wet, this shoe feels slick as an ice skate. I took a nasty spill because it isn't slip resistant on wet limestone. Keens used to have really wide toe boxes which made them extremely comfortable, stable and cool looking. This Targhee shoe (14W) has a toe box that is no wider than any other typical shoe. However, it is wider in the arch area which is not where I want the width because it makes the arch less supportive. ... show more

This is my second pair this year. Great shoe. Comfortable, nice looking, but I struggle with the quality. It’s not what keene used to be. And the price has gone up exponentially. I will probably explore other shoe companies for my next pair
