Weighing 15.87 oz / 499.9 g (per shoe), made with durable, waterproof leather, and featuring a moisture-wicking lining, the KEEN Targhee 3 waterproof hiking shoes for men are built off KEEN's traditional wider footwear form. KEEN products are consciously created using PFC-free water repellent (in applicable styles) and leather sourced from Leather Working Group (LWG)-certified tanneries. KEEN makes shoes to make a difference.

I tend to drag my right foot with my forehand throw, which is the majority of my tee box throws. I have blown out several pairs of less exspensive hiking shoes. If these continue to hold up as they have for the past 3 months they will be cheaper in the long run. I play for sure two times a week 18 each time more if i get the chance. I tried the columbias, they were too tight even the wide size, Amazon returned them but make sure the transaction gets taken off your credit card, we had to follow up on that it was clerical. The one thing i would change is to get a softer insert, why not be comfortable. I like that my shoe isnt filled with dirt and i dont have a bloody toe at the end of the round.     • Great hiking shoes

This is my 3rd pair of this Targhee 3 model shoe. They are extremely comfortable and durable, which is why I keep repurchasing them. I have a couple of criticisms about the design and manufacture, but they are still well worth buying them again. The first critism is that the glue joint on each side of the the upper toe area needs to be strengthened. When this glue joint breaks, they are no longer waterproof. The 2nd criticism is that inevitably, at least for me, the bottom section of treads becomes unglued, and I have to reglue them. Superglue or epoxy glue both work very well ot reattach the bottom. I walk about 5 miles per day and I log about 2,000 miles on each pair. ... show more

    • Perfect hiking shoe right out of the box

This hiking shoes are amazing. I wore it for work, I’m an eight hour shift on my feet, just to get a feel for the shield. Two days later I took the them On a 14 mile hike to the top of Mount Timpanogos and back. No chafing, no blisters, no problems. Very comfortable phenomenal shoe.

This my third pair of Keen's targhee 3 and they won't be my last. They are the best walking shoe I ever owned. I put on about 20 miles per week all year long, rain or shine. And yes, they are waterproof.

    • I replaced the insole with a little higher arch and heel . Very comfortable

I like the shoe length and width but it needed a better insole for me. I went with a higher arch and heel. The toe box width also is great. I just started wearing them so we will see how they will last.

Every day wear, I buy two pair at a time and rotate every other day. What I don’t like is that the sole doesn’t wear well and when it wears through one layer the sole starts to come apart.

Previous pair had hard wear for five years, this pair, sole is separating from shoe after 3 months. Waterproofing not holding up, wet feet when walking in dew. Leather parts are peeling also. Comfortable shoe, but very disappointed in waterproofing and sole separation. Will not purchase again. Update, contacted Keen shoes, very helpful,prompt, courteous, warranty support. I was looking for something to wear for construction sites that will also pass as casual footwear. And hopefully have the comfort of a sneaker.
