  • Keen shoes are the best
I own two different style shoes from Keen and love them both. These walking shoes are very nice and comfortable. Previous to the Keen Steens, I walked in Sketchers, which are good shoes but the reason I would choose Keen is for the solid soles and durability. The Sketchers were too soft and once I was into a walk the shoes would loosen up and my foot would slide around (toes would press into the front of the shoe going downhill as an example) In the Steens, it feels like the shoe holds my feet steady, no sliding due to the material, laces and shape. The rubber sole bends nicely, not overly flexible but firm. I would recommend these shoes or any Keen, great brand. ... show more

  • Very comfortable
These Keens are very comfortable, I also purchased a pair of Merrill’s, but tend to grab the Keens first, as I can walk pretty much all day without any problems or issues. Had these for 2 to 3 months now, very good, fit and finish, so far so good. This is my second pair first pair is 5 years old worn occasionally and still holding up well. ... show more

  • Simply the best!
Those of us who like hiking or just getting out in nature for a stroll or hike need good shoe, for support and grip. Keens Teens Vented shoes are tops in my book, worth every single penny you pay for them. The vibram soles, ensure your footing is like a mtn goat and they're waterproof too, so your feet stay dry. easy to place up and. get going these shoes fit like a glove, no rubbing on the ankle or back of the foot. They are truly a joy to wear. I must say, this is not my first pair or Keens, they last for years! I totally recommend Keen s shoes ... show more

  • Not mase in USA
Size: 9 Color: Brown
Most Keen shoes say either made in USA or imported. Pretty much a guarantee that they are imported. These specifically said they were made in USA. They are made in India. That said, fit is true to size. Very comfortable. If you have a high arch you may need a new footed. Quality looks good new, time will tell. ... show more

  • Good shoe for fairly active old timers!
So far so good! They’re heavy for us old bucks but tend to make you feel more stable. Vented top makes them comfortable heat wise. Rugged sole helps on wet slippery ground. Wife advises removal upon entering house!!

  • Literally 50/50 good/bad quality
Reading through all these reviews you’ll notice two main trends. Those who say these shoes are made well, and the rubber caps on the toes never falls off, and those who say these shoes are built poorly, and the rubber caps break off after hardly any use. My right shoe is perfect, no hint at loosing any trim or anything. The left shoe has nearly disintegrated. Everything that is glued on, is coming off, or has already come off. That explains the title of this review, literally 50/50. You might get good shoes, you might get bad shoes, or you might get one good and one bad shoe. Gotta find humor where it lies in todays world. ... show more

  • These are great!
I have been wearing Merrill Moab Vent hiking shoes for the last few years for work. When my most recent pair of Merrills came, they were really bad in fit and comfort. Sometimes there is variation amongst different shoes even the same style/size, but since their overall quality has been declining, I decided to try the Keens. I am a nurse and am on my feet a lot. I am also quite heavy, so sturdiness and support are extremely important. A poorly fitting or not supportive pair of shoes can literally cripple me for a week after one day of work. Boy I am telling you right now I will never go back! These shoes are so comfortable! The arch support was a little bit lacking, but different insoles took care of that no problem. The rest of the shoe feels quite sturdy and also has lots of cushion. My feet sweat a lot, and I have had no problem with these. I expect to get at least 6 months of daily wear at work from these, and will update if I don’t. ... show more
