Boots performed above expectations. All day comfort. Original review knocked the toe protection as it is not very attractive. Personally it saved me a few times on the trail, taking hits from rocks while not transferring impact to my toes. My wife also wore a pair with similar positive results! Unfortunately I had to return them. They were too tight alongside my instep. Plenty of toe room (which is why I went with Keen in the first place) but unfortunately this model doesn’t come in a wide and I was afraid the half size up would be too long.

Large toe box. I have very high arches and in size 13 the arches appear to be medium. The best fit for my feet would be 12.5, which was left out.

These are very comfortable wearing them 10+hours a day in order to break them in for an upcoming hike. I’ve even worn them in the rain while coaching on the sideline and my feet have stayed dry.
