This is not an actual “rug” but depending on what you need it for or where you put it, it may be perfect for you. I was looking for a throw rug for my workout area so my exercise slides would work better. I was looking for a large carpet throw. I didn’t want to spend a lot so I looked everywhere. Saw this online, read the description, the price was cheaper than I’d seen anywhere else, and then I read the reviews. Some said they liked it, others said it was a “mat” not a carpet. That concerned me a little. I did not want some cheap flimsy, floppy thing under foot making me trip. The size, and price was right, and I liked the color (the gray is 3 shades of gray- no black) I got it quickly and yes it is more of a mat not a carpet. HOWEVER, I LOVE IT! Because it’s smooth and soft and padded, it is perfect for my needs. It would also be great in baby’s room, or a play mat, or picnic mat, bedroom mat, or like me, an exercise mat. It doesn’t bunch up and it has little non skid dots on the back. It’s very soft. It smooths right out and lays flat. It DOES look like a rug from a distance, so again if it doesn’t bother you that it is not an actual rug, but you want something soft, then try it out!! It is foldable and washable too! I knew what I was buying and it's perfect for thr bunny room. There is already carpet installed but I linoleum under my bunny's large pen and several size rugs covering the carpet floor to kerp it from damage. I had one 4x6 area that needed covering and I wanted a tatami like I had before that was ruined by a previous bunny who has passed. The previous tatami was thicker but I can't find one the same but this is close. I didn't bother ironing or the other suggestions I washed mine immediately to remove the lite odor with plant-based unscented detergent and a dust mite inhibitor additive then put it in the dryer no heat for an hour and then hung it up to finish drying overnight. I put it down this morning and it's perfect. No folds or other issues. ... show more

This item is not a rug. It’s more like a padded mat. It’s cushiony but returned it because it kind looks cheap. I guess it could be a good exercise mat. I prefer an area rug that’s actually a low pile carpet.

I adore this rug and I didn’t take the greatest picture but it’s beautiful! It’s soft and cushy and fits great in my kitchen! I would buy another one for sure. It’s also easy to wash!

It's very pretty, but it is nothing like a rug; infact when you open it up from the box, it is so soft and so easy to move around, it seems nothing like a rug for your floor. One thing for sure, since it is nothing like rug material, pet hair doesn't stick to it very much. I don't think it is going to do very well when heavy for traffic area. ... show more
