These dollies are very sturdy and roll easily. It's great that they have five wheels per dolly. The arm on the included lifting device is way too short. I had to use a 4ft. digging bar to lift our empty spa to get it high enough to get the dolly under a corner. Also, the lifting device arm pivots, so it just collapses.

I actually purchased this to use under my RESPAWN RSP-1010 Gaming Computer Desk that I purchased from Amazon years ago. The desk is HEAVY, but I use it in front of my recliner and I was tired of pushing and pulling it back and forth every time I wanted to get up. I had the little felt pads, but they wore out quickly and they weren't cheap. I finally decided to try these, and I'm thrilled that I did. All I had to do was lift each corner of the desk (with help) put one of these under, and it's been rolling around ever since. Beautifully. These are NOT cheap plastic. These will last!

These work pretty good for heavy thinks like a desk with short wider legs or totally flat bottoms that sit full on the dolly top plate. But on all our regular furniture they are very cumbersome & keep tipping over despite using the side slats that are included. We have a lot of MCM furn with 6"-8" legs & the legs will slide on the dolly platform & when the get to the slat retainer, the dilly tips over, so be very careful & go very slow while watching the legs to see when they start sliding. I got these 4 wheels dolly's because they are supposed to be more stable, but that's not the case. It seems since all the weight is above the wheels on the top plat, they are not stable unless you have a very heavy item that sits flat on the dolly - then they work pretty well. I think the 3 wheel dollys where the furniture feet sit lower is a cup will lower the center of gravity & keep them from tipping for longer legged furniture

My initial target use is to regularly move an elliptical glider that seems to live in the guest room closet. I want to pull it out into the guest bedroom to use it while the roads are snow covered here, and easily move it back when it's no longer in demand. Moving it is a serious chore though (heavy, ungainly), and these low dollies turn out to be the ideal solution. Things I like: -- Plenty of capacity. -- Roll easily on the hardwood floors. -- The lever-jack with wheels worked perfectly, and it's a very nice accessory. I added a piece of wood (a 6" piece of scrap 2x4) to get the lever-jack up to the height I needed to slip the dollies under the feet, as described in the instructions. -- The little metal 'fence' pieces for the dollies are a serious plus, hold the dollies stable under larger furniture legs, and hold the little block in place when needed. I needed them. -- The set comes with bungie cords to help keep the dollies snug under the item you are moving. Especially helpful if you are moving over an uneven surface where one dolly might be 'unweighted' Things I wish were better: -- I wish there were four of the "free" poly blocks in the kit instead of two. The package describes them as a free bonus add-in, and I really need one for each dolly to accept the little legs/feet on the glider. Were I moving furniture with legs/feet, I would want one for each leg. I had to go back and look more closely at the description and pictures to see that there weren't a couple missing. Solved with a bit more of the scrap 2x4 and a Forstner bit in the drill press. Conclusion: I would definitely buy these again. Especially if another pair of the free bonus plastic blocks was included. More: -- Some of the reviews criticize the wheels on carpet. The description is pretty clear that they are for hard floors and maybe thin rugs. There's a compromise in making a dolly that's short enough to go easily under furniture legs, vs, having larger wheels that might roll better on rugs. It's hard to have both in a set of compact dollies. For bigger moves over carpet, I have real mover's dollies with bigger ball-bearing urethane wheels. Much higher lift to get them underneath a load though. I'm very happy with the purchase!
