this keyboard was quite the satisfactory. it was super cute when opened and i loved the way it was snugly packaged rather than others that have been shipped in airtight bags. the typing was very good, it connected to my ipad very quick and easy. the magnetic attachment on it was great, it stuck well to the case. the ipad case was adjusted well and i liked how there was a cover pad on the keyboard to protect it from dirt or fading, and as a bonus it made the keyboard feel and sound nicer! the case along with the ipad was a bit heavy, but overall, i would highly recommend this product, it is great quality. ... show more

This case and keyboard are a great value for the money! I have a 2017 iPad Pro (1709 model) and I just don’t see the logic in paying a premium price for a keyboard on an older iPad like this. This case has 3 different ridges to prop my iPad, depending on the angle I want. The keyboard is magnetized to the flat part of the cover (which has a very low profile), so it doesn’t slide around or sit awkwardly. I’ve been using it out-of-the-box today for the at least a couple hours straight, and it’s still charged. The keyboard has a silicone sheet to cover the keys, so when I fold it up I don’t have to worry about it scratching the face of my iPad. The negatives are pretty minimal (especially considering the price): - I got the “champagne” color because it was the cheapest and could be delivered overnight. It’s….not cute, lol. “Peach” would be kind, but it’s really more of a “bad self-tanning lotion” color. - I use a cover on my Apple Pencil (1st gen, so it doesn’t stick to my iPad), and the spot in the case for the pencil definitely isn’t big enough for a pencil cover. I also had a protective cover on the back of my iPad, and the case is too tight for that, too. Not a huge deal - I think the iPad will be protected enough in this case that I won’t need the other one. - Maintaining connectivity hasn’t been much of an issue today (again, I literally just got it this morning). It’s disconnected itself twice, both times after I’d turned off my iPad during class lectures to conserve battery life. Reconnecting wasn’t an issue though! - I suspect you’ll need a pretty solid internet signal for the keyboard to function properly. If the internet lags at all, you’ll end up missing letters, which would be incredibly frustrating! Also, compared to the Apple Smart Folio I used before, this keyboard is loud. They’re proper keys, so just be aware that the sound of typing will be more prominent than with something like the Smart Folio. So far I can enthusiastically recommend this cover and keyboard! ... show more

Honestly this is so great but while I was looking for a keyboard for my iPad for my college classes and i ran into this and don’t get me wrong it’s great types well long lasting batter it’s been a week and the batter is still full ,and trust I’ve been typing a lot , my point is I didn’t think about getting one with rectangle square that helps you scroll down and move your curser I’ll put in a image of that I’m talking about so you guys understand, anyways when I’m going my hw it doesn’t bother me to scroll down by having to touch my iPad buttttt on exams it does because for online exams , they make you download this external app called lockdown browser it’s to make sure you don’t cheat , camera on and microphone, don’t worry none of your classmates see you because you don’t take exams dad a class but while you take your quiz you will be recoded and and microphone will be on so they will hear and see u while you take it , your teacher will see the recording of you taking the exam and check if you cheated anywyas back to it so since your taking your test they don’t really want you to be moving you screen but it’s okay if you touch it as long as your in frame , still for us iPad users for them to see us completely we have to place our iPad vertically ( the long way ) soooo at that angle Anytime you touch it It might tip over , my best advice is done get this one , get one exactly with all the features this one has but plus the sensor touch thing in the image and then you’ll be good I’m sure the one I’m talking about is only like 3 more dollars , learn from my experience and go prepared so you can avoid that inconvenience , best of luck and I hope this helps ^ ... show more

    • Works as a cover at most!!
I bought this case with magnetic keyboard for my daughter to take to school. She ended up not using it because the keyboard magnets are just not strong enough to hold it in place. The battery life is good, the keys are all functioning great and its very easy to connect to Bluetooth. The drawback is that when you open the case if the keyboard is not laying flat it will fall out. I've dropped it several times from just opening it but on the bright side the keyboard still works. The apple pencil fits in the case good also. Also I don't like that the screen doesn't lock upon closing the case like most of them do. I guess because it's not laying flat against the screen or doesn't recognize it . I can't attest to how good the protection is to the iPad from the case because thankfully I haven't dropped it but I would be scared to because the keyboard is just floating around on top of your screen so I would imagine a drop would be a bad deal. ... show more
