I like the durable handle and the thin nylon strap. I only have one suggestion that maybe it come with a carabiner or some way to secure it to your kayak other than running a loop in it and losing some of its length.

I have a sit on top kayak that is very sturdy, but at my age, it takes a lot out of me to try and balance and stand up at the same time unassisted. This strap has helped quite a lot. I still fall in the water from time to time, but at least l can stand up pretty easily now. I was using this strap to drag my 70lb 11ft kayak onto the beach from in the water and the strap snapped where the handle is stitched together. I had only used it about a dozen times and it has always been stored inside out of the sun.
