I like it and what it does for you and your kayak. If you have poor balance on your kayak it probably is not a good investment. But I like it and makes it easier to stand up on the lake. Easy to installation and good quality.

I like the durable handle and the thin nylon strap. I only have one suggestion that maybe it come with a carabiner or some way to secure it to your kayak other than running a loop in it and losing some of its length.

Fully adjusted to its maximum length this stand up assist strap is the perfect size for my Crescent CK1. The strap handle reaches right up between the foot pegs so that I don’t have to reach too far for it. Time will tell how the quality of the strap is but it seems well made.

I have a sit on top kayak that is very sturdy, but at my age, it takes a lot out of me to try and balance and stand up at the same time unassisted. This strap has helped quite a lot. I still fall in the water from time to time, but at least l can stand up pretty easily now. Plus l use the strap when water levels are low on the river and l have to walk my kayak for short distances. Highly recommended.

The strap seriously failed when I was pulling my kayak up on my trailer on the water. The failure caused me to fall back hitting my back on the winch and then I fell into the water. Yes …. I got hurt. I enclosed the picture so others won’t experience the same thing as I did. I have opted to now use a rigging lifting strap instead. For strength and reliability and most importantly…. Piece of mind.
