This is a nice, collapsible kayak paddle. The total length is 7' 2". The four sections when bundled together are just under 2 feet, so storage is easy. I was a little confused by the drip rings, as they wouldn't slide onto the blade shafts. Anyone who uses a kayak paddle knows these are a needed part of it to keep you from getting soaked from the water running down the paddle shaft and running down your arms. But, I found that if I put them on the tapered end of the middle shaft I can compress it enough with the blade shaft to get the retaining pin to protrude and secure the blade. One section of the middle shaft has four retaining pin holes, so you can adjust the blade differential to your preference. Personally I like my blades almost parallel to each other. This being anodized aluminum it has plastic sleeves to place your hands on while paddling, so your hands don't turn black. The blades are stiff, but have enough flex to keep from snapping off when using them to push off of rocks and such. I also use kayak paddles in my canoe for those long stretches of calm river. I prefer a single paddle for using in rapids.

Great paddle! It comes in 4 sections, so easily broken down for travel or storage. It is very light weight which makes for a great day of paddling. The paddle is adjustable for varying the blade angle to fit your stroke. The drip rings were a little tricky to get on but they do fit. I assume the black plastic sleeve over the handle section is for grip and to keep from hands discoloring from the aluminum, but I like the color contrast of the different sections, that might not appeal to some but I like it. Overall this is a well made paddle that is great for kayakers or SUP enthusiasts. I recommend!

As an avid kayaker, I'm picky about my paddles. They have to be light, glide through the water, and have style. This kayak paddle is very basic and will do the job in a pinch, but there are much better paddles out there on Amazon for cheaper too. See the picture but this Overmont or Oceanbroad are better brands on Amazon. Ideally you want the carbon fiber and fiberglass paddles for a lighter paddle than these plastic ones. With the right shape and design in a paddle, you should see mini-whirlpools created by your paddle with every stroke.

This paddle seems really sturdy. It was easy to put together, but it still would have been nice to have some instructions. The small plastic caps were a bit difficult to figure out where they go and in what arrangement. The paddle has a few holes for adjusting the paddle if you like the blades at different angles. This is very comparable to other paddles I have. I have only used it once and it worked well on my paddle board while I was sitting down. Nice, affordable paddle.

These are good paddles for the price. My old paddles are shorter, and so I always end up dripping into my kayak when I raise the from side to side. These are long enough that won't be a problem. The splash guards that came with these are decent, but could be bigger. Luckily I have extras to replace them with.

This is a nice heavy duty kayak paddle. It's sturdy without being heavy. The lightweight makes it easier to paddle it. Easy to put together and take back apart to store in smaller areas. My grandson says these are better/ nicer than his other paddle. He uses his kayak to fish so he uses it a lot. Recommend this paddle . My grandson said he couldn't come up with any negatives on it.
