Wish I had these sooner. Grabs onto anything it will grip and won’t let go. I’ve grabbed onto tall grass with these and stayed where I was in high winds. If you kayak fish you need these in your gear bag.

This is ridiculously handy for those times you want to pull off the river but don’t want to shore your boat, or when there’s little to anchor to. You can just clip it into your belt or a branch or an outcropping of reeds and presto magico - you’ve got all the grip and performance you need. Totally worth it. The Antidious Kayak Brush Gripper is a very functional piece of equipment. It is solidly made, and its design, allowing both the its jaws and the paracord to work together to grab hold of an object, is quite clever. While the device is made of metal, the handles are coated with a non-slip material which should make it easier to use with wet hands. Also, the jaws will spread to 4 1/2". While I wouldn't recommend using it in heavy current (I wouldn't recommend using any anchoring scheme for canoes or kayaks in heavy current), in more moderate conditions it should allow the kayak or canoe to be safely secured. Lastly, an adequate length of paracord is included, but I'm not convinced that it's the best quality paracord I have ever encountered. I imagine I will be replacing it a some point in the near future, but it should be fine for the moment. For me, this isn't a huge issue. All in all, this is a great accessory for your canoe or kayak at a very reasonable price. ... show more
