The XC60 has a horrendous design when it comes to changing the cabin air filter, essentially requiring a team of circus contortionists to do the job. But that's Volvo's fault, and not a criticism of this filter. It's well-made and fits the vehicle properly. No complaints here.

The process to install this filter is a well documented PITA. The filter is tight in the Volvo X60. It compresses like an accordion when you push it into the housing. You have no idea if it's just compressing on itself or actually moving into the housing. I'm sure it filters but I suspect there are better choices. I would not buy it again. ... show more

If you've got a V60 you know this thing is a pain in the butt to put in. It is indeed the correct size and fits and seals well inside the air box in the car. Time will tell if the charcoal will be able to filter out any stanky smells but it is pollen season where I live and the car always has a coating on it. This seems to help cut down on the amount in the car for sure. I'm satisfied, you will be too. Just remember to pull your whole glovebox out to make installation easier.
